Hmm... Similar to Id... That's quite difficult. It may not look like it at first glance but it is a very particular manhwa. It balances the mood quite well and manages story with overwhelming battles in an insanely entertaining way. Similar to that I really can't think of any.

Some manga seem to share a couple of points with it but I can't say they're similar per se.
Berserk also has a wide fantasy setting that is a bit unlike most "fantasy" manga, plus it also has a way above the average manga, they both take some time to move the story along, both feature a lot of characters and a very wide story with several branches. But the feel of the 2 are completely different.
Shin Angyo Onshi is basically the same as when I compare it to Berserk, but it might be even farther from Id since its main character himself isn't overwhelmingly strong.
Everyone knows this one, but Bleach shares overpowered battles and big swords. Then again Bleach... Well, it's Bleach I really don't think I can say anything else.
According to what I hear about King Of Hell it might be one of the closest ones, but I haven't read it yet.

On the other hand, now that I think about it there might be something that shares a similarity in a certain way. It's a very different kind of story, but Korean webcomics tend to take a somewhat similar approach to their story as you see in Id: A wide setting/world, a slowly unveiling plot that branches out, big fights, a good balance between comedic light-hearted moments and dramatic/ serious scenes.
I definitely think you should check it out just to make sure. I recommend Tower of God above any other (I am quite biased about it though...), you can read it here:

I know it feels strange at first but if you let it sink in, Korean Webcomics really manage to deliver a fantastic story. Tower of God is not in MAL yet, but I can recommend some that are (according to how similar they are to Id in a way):
Kubera
Noblesse (takes a while to get really good though)
Trace (same problem as Noblesse and the art is quite worse)
I really think these won't be a waste of your time (especially Tower of God) but I do know that most manga fans look at these new Korean webcomics with a certain reluctance unfortunately

Oh... I just noticed that I wrote a lot... I'm really sorry about that. When I start going about these topics I just seem to let myself go easily. Anyway, I hope I was helpful at least.

Id is still ongoing, its releases are just slow, since it's a manhwa (Korean manga).

I do have to say though, the chances of it getting an anime series are probably close to 0. The only manhwa I remember seeing animated was Shin Angyo Onshi, which got released in Japan since it was really popular and easily marketable. And even that one only got a ( relatively low budget) movie so...
It’s time to ditch the text file.
