~About Me
- I read more manga than I watch anime. Though I don't think this is weird in the slightest, a lot of people I've met in real life find it so. This is actually because I usually don't have enough time to watch anime episodes, so its easier for me squeeze in moments to read in between tasks, before sleep etc. (plus it takes way less time to read than watch)
- I've also always been more of a reader, so it's generally in my nature to read the source material instead of the adaptation.
Tbh it depends.
- All important info about myself has mysteriously vanished from my memory.
My motto: A great soundtrack = A great show!
Important!!!
The notes on my lists may contain spoilers.
My notes can be anything from rants to mini-reviews to random thoughts on what I've read so far. I usually include a disclaimer incase there are any spoilers to be found in any of the notes. Just thought I should give a heads-up on my profile too. Apologies that i can't obscure them in any way (-_-;).
My manga and anime ratings explained!
╰☆☆ ℳ𝓎 𝓂𝒶𝓃𝑔𝒶 𝓇𝒶𝓉𝒾𝓃𝑔𝓈 𝑒𝓍𝓅𝓁𝒶𝒾𝓃𝑒𝒹 ☆☆╮
10: A probable masterpiece. Something I had an amazing time reading, and believe deserves all the love it can get. In some cases I just look past any of its faults and give it a 10 if I enjoyed it that much. I've probably only done this once or twice, but at times I give short stories a 10 too, as they're mostly too short to find any issue.
9: Really good. Almost perfect in fact. Probably really close to being a favorite
8: Had one or two things standing in the way of my enjoyment, for example poor art, underdeveloped characters, etc.
7: Just there actually. This is my average score.
6: Wasn't exactly good, but wasn't bad either. Pretty readable. Also my default score for anything with ecchi or gore as the main plot (I say this yet I have Onanie Master Kurosawa in my favorites)
5,4,3: Descending levels of bad. Atrocious in their own way
2: Why do you exist?
Anime ratings
Most times if I've already read the manga I rate it based on how good of an adaptation I think it is, and not how good the anime itself is.
Ratings usually mean the same as manga. Though I'm much less lenient with anime ratings and 8/10 is the average score here

I really appreciate your recommendations! From the two manga you recommended I was able to read “All you need is kill”. I honestly didn't know this manga although I really like Obata's works, my favorite is Bakuman! I recommend it in case you haven't read it (in fact I had no idea about the movie either hahaha).
I found the concept of the manga quite fascinating, about reliving the same thing and learning from mistakes and the ease with which they apply it in the plot despite having very few chapters. The ending I didn't expect, but it was a great closure, even though I was sad about what happened.
Thanks again and I hope you have a great year! Best regards
