Anime is something I got into after realising that I prefer animation to live action, but that most western animation is either for kids or pure comedy/satire. My favourite types of shows tend to be either fun action shoujo/shounen with likeable characters, or dark introspective shows that challenge and analyse their characters. I'll watch just about anything however, as long as it's good.
I first gave it a shot last summer, when I first started watching anime. I gave up on it then, and ended up watching it I think last December, and liked it a lot more.
I also like a lot of the stuff on your tumblr blog too; it's hard to find blogs that post lots of mahou shoujo stuff consistently, which is why yours is pretty great.
I really like your extended character list! I also like your taste in anime, though that probably doesn't mean much coming from someone who's seen so little.
I think you should give FLCL another shot sometime, though!
I'm glad you liked it. Maybe you'll stick around for my full review of the series later, eh?
Regardless, it's a series that deserves to be watched to completioin. Some others with paper-thin plot and even more fanservice I've dropped quite handily in the past, but at least Kill la Kill is engaging enough to see through.
u g H i know like i think hearing anime in my own language makes it more emotional somehow (and also, jokes/comedy scenes are a lot funnier). and thanks, i didn't know about the club !! uvu
