Yeah Planetes looked really good when i had a look over the series summary, thats definately one i'm going to get thanks for the recommendation. I'm a huge fan of sci-fi, mecha and romance.
I was doing a diploma of I.T but wasnt happy with where the course was going so i'm hopefully going to be in an another course next year, Advanced Diploma of Computer Systems Engineering (a mouth full isnt it). I do dabble in multimedia stuff in my spare time though (making amv's and game review videos) but i'd like to keep it a hobby for now.
Sucks about the film industry over here doesnt it, and tbh i wouldnt go to america for a job. Canada has a pretty good film and tv industry but.
no worries dude, Code Geass seems pretty popular so it must be a good watch. Good to hear your gonna watch Ghost in the Shell too, you wont regret it :D
You were a film student ey? was that the multimedia side of things? or did you analyze movies, write reviews that kind of thing? I think its good that your critical, means you know what you like and dont like. Me, i'm a pretty mixed bag so its always hard making a decision on what to watch.
Hows your weekend been? btw did that Code Geass link work out for you?
I've been looking for Gurren Lagann dubs but no luck so i've got nothing to watch atm. I did finish Ghost in the Shell 1st GiG and it was pretty good, i did a review on it if you havnt read it although i've gotta be the worst reviewest because i've given nothing on my anime list under a 7 lol, i guess i just love it all.
It was released in July last year so thats ample time for a dub. The second half of Lelouch only finished in september last month so either the dub is in progress or its going to start i'm assuming. Correct me if i'm wrong :P
The torrent is a bit of mixed bag, but [Z-Z] released good quality dubs, and there all mkv's so i assume they be decent quality.
I had no luck with Hunter X Hunter or Monster however and as for Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann i've been constantly checking up on it but nothing yet, the first dvd with dubbed audio was released in North America only this month so it'll be a while before it comes out as a whole. Sorry, but i couldnt come up with much. I'll keep my eye out for you though.
Yes, its all my in the cold stare isnt it :D I love how he smiles during his poses to himself whenever something big is going down or he's blurting out some ridiculous order.
So far i've gotten up to episode 17 of GiTs and all i can say is that it lives up to its hype, i've already got a few eps i know i'm going back to watch. If you want a link for it i can give it to you and for the 2nd gig too since i havnt really given much else.
Poor spike, there was a little piece inside of me that said he isnt dead, that little piece of me just withered away :( ah well, your spot on with tragic endings they are way better, they atleast bring some sort of closure.
I've only gotten through about a quarter of Deathnote myself, i'm having trouble getting more episodes so its on hold for the time being. Ryuk and Light are by far my favourite characters, everyone else seems to love L.
I've got a thing for characters with god complexes :P
If you manage to get past episode 16 anytime soon tell me if it gets any better cause i heard Light and Ryuk arnt much of a focus later on.
76.2% compatability....sweeeeet! Your choice in anime freakin rocks dude, NGE all the way. Its good to see someone also supporting english dub actors, i myself prefer english dubs *queue fanboy scream*. I'm dying to get my hands on the rest of Ergo Proxy atm, i've only seen up to the part where Vincent and Pino get across the lake outside of Romdo on that boat thing. Still so fars its a fantastic anime.
Look forward to chatting, glad i found this website btw it looks like a great community of fans here.
the EOE ending, was totally messed up and somewhat confusing when I watched it years ago, I might better understand if I seen it now but I tend not to re-watch series.
shit thats too bad, its an awesome show, best cat and mouse thriller this side of death note. Have you tried looking on youtube for eps?.
lol, i've been living the adult life too since 17, i've only been watching more since i took stress leave from work last month so next month i'll prolly be watching less again when i'm back to work :(

How long you got left in your I.T course?

And your actually the first person i've met apart from myself that actually likes Gendo, lol he isnt very likeable is he?
In the meantime i've got to finish off Ghost in a Shell, the series is pretty good. Sucked me in so far, i'll see how the rest goes.

I also rkn Spike should have gotten with Faye, it was written over them both in the last episode. One of the things that irked me about the last ep.

U'll def enjoy the GTO anime btw.
I didn't give Evangelion a 10 because of the bizzare ending.
