Cainã, 1989.
São Paulo, Brazil.
Since childhood I always had contact with anime, later also had contact with manga.
In childhood I record anime episodes on VHS. As a teenager I started buying several DVDs, both of my favorite anime, as new anime. Later, the Internet arrived and started to have access to many anime and manga and widened access to content.
I definitely love the Japanese culture, and I have a very great fascination with anime and manga.
I hope to meet people who feel the same way. Feel free to show me new anime and manga.

Damn, I just realized I never replied to you. I'm really sorry for that.
Same here, I think the only anime I see on TV is Pokemon and some really old stuff like Doraemon and Shin-chan. As I said earlier, anime channels are pretty much gone here now.
Oh Wow, you're lucky to have an anime store. There's really no retail store where I can get merchandise here, Amazon offers a few figures and manga but most of the time they're super expensive especially the figure due to import charges and stuff. Manga is much more affordable so I buy a few volumes from time to time.
Oh damn, 4Kids version sucks. The only 4Kids dub I actually liked was the original Yugioh. The 4Kids One Piece is an atrocity. Though, I assume it's much better now since there are better licencors.
Well we've got the internet and online streaming now so it isn't much of a problem. Though I'm glad I had Animax back when I was young.
Tell me about it, Non English subs are so fast, Anime must be pretty popular in Brazil eh?
Pretty awesome how accessible anime has become now.
So you used to record stuff on VHS as well eh? I used to ask my parents to record everything that aired on Toonami back in the day as well. xD
