Sounds like an interesting idea, don't get me wrong, but I haven't been able until this point to watch Clannad, so it's hard for me to picture how such a series would look like...
Still, it sounds interesting enough to deem it a good idea, lol. I would probably pay to watch it, lol.
What would be your take on TH1, tho? I pressume it would be pretty similar, but still, its different enough to warrant me asking how you would deal with that series, at least in my opinion.
Also, have you gotten a hold of Remember my Memories? I believe at some point you said something about it, but I forgot. In case you indeed managed to see it, I would like to know your opinion since it seems as something you potentially could like, altough I don't know, since it turn a radically diferent approach it took to the first anime, you know?
Hahaha, totally understand. Same thing happened to me with Fallout: New Vegas, everyone spoke to me about how glorious and entertaining it was, but when I actually got to download it and play it myself, I, for whatever reason, just couldn't bring myself to play it in the end!
I suppose everyone has different tastes in videogames, and that's exactly what's happening, altough maybe I should give another chance to New Vegas one of these days... or at least that's what I've been thinking...
Anyways, you have been repeating since the start of this conversation how To Heart should have been this and should have been that, and you got me actually curious: how would you have made the To Heart franchise to be as entertaining and endearing as your standards demand? You seem to have a pretty few concise ideas about the whole ordeal, so I would like to listen...
Well, you know, I won't be too hard on her, since I know you like her quite a bit, but Konomi is just a normal girl who happens to be incredibly close to Takaaki, while Ruuko is a literal alien and everything that entails. I can see how whoever directed the series decided focusing more on Ruuko than Konomi would result more engaging for the audience overall, lol.
Obviously, this is not to defend anything TH2 decided to do with its own show, I agree with you that the series left much to be desired equally on its artistic and overall plot direction (especially compared with its direct predecessor) and should have dedicated more time to its characters since that was the central element of the anime to begin with...
Well, I guess that's what we get for seeign an anime made primordially to promote a date simulator game, lol. One cannot expect too much from those, you know.
Speaking of which, have you ever played the dating simulator the franchise derives from in the first place? Since, you know.. you seem to pretty much like Konomi, and in those games you can literally date her... lol, I don't know, that's just what I belive someone like you would have already done by this point, correct me if I am wrong, tho.
Well, considering your profile picture, account's contents and personality as a whole I would have guessed Konomi would have filled that role for you, lol.
To me, TH2 also didn't strike me as particularly interesting, just as you said. Ruuko was without a doubt the highlight of the whole thing, so I wanted to know what you tought of her.
Well, isn't this a particular way to start a conversation?
Don't worry too much about it tho, I was actually the one who discovered your profile on the forums and sent you a friend request, lol. Guess it's easy to forget who you have added and who you haven't when you have so many people on your friends list, haha.
Now that you are here, wanna talk about To Heart a bit with me? You seem like an interesting dude and would want to hear your takes on the series surely. What would you say?
