yeah that seems highly likely, i used to comment on forums all the time, especially episode/chapter discussions
that is good to hear, never become like me who is currently reading a billion manga at once and can't even remember the plot half the time. to be fair, it's not entirely my fault since most of those manga just haven't finished publishing so they update with one chapter a month or something like that. i could just not start currently publishing manga but i get too curious and start reading anyways. hence my bad habit began and it's too late to cure it
hey well then welcome to the community! i am not super active myself either, i was most active when i first joined or so and then slowed down over the years since i simply didn't have as much time nor energy to do anything aside from upgrade lists once in a while (and even that is not very consistent either). that being said, your taste is actually really solid for someone who is new. however, don't really let yourself be influenced by what is considered good taste or not. sometimes you will just enjoy a shitty story and that is alright. you might not have this problem but just letting you know just in case. i notice sometimes people on here try to decorate their favorites with what is considered subjectively good taste
also i see you're a fan of Vinland Saga. i was in a middle of reading it but i completely forgot where i left off so i gave up and just decided i'll be watching the anime instead. they did a decent job so far and i have a feeling they might adapt several seasons. i hope the second season will be popular and successful enough for future seasons, because i feel like the story is quite enjoyable in animation form. i usually prefer reading but for manga that have a lot of action scenes and an "adventure" aspect, i sometimes prefer to just watch the anime. i don't mind missing some details as long as they try to stay as faithful as possible to the source material
by the way, i hope it is alright that i am bombarding you with these messages. it's been a while that i've had someone to pester on here. just let me know if you're not the conversation type or for any other reason. i understand some people don't really have the time to respond! i had moments like that as well when i was super busy
hmmmmm i am not much of a reviewer. i did have some but they have been taken down since for whatever reason by mods. i actually remember having one of my reviews being on the top of some series so i'm pretty salty about it. there goes all my fame
if you're interested in the artist of the profile pic, it's drawn by "Tsuruta Kenji". he has a few short manga, i have personally enjoyed them purely because of the art
my taste (especially as more years pass) is just basically based on how much i enjoyed consuming it. i like some subjectively poorly written stuff and vice versa
i haven't really been that active on this site lately, mostly due to the fact that i rarely watch anime nowadays. i mostly read, but i'm too lazy to add it to my list plus i forget to update it anyways. hence why i have....a disrespectful amount of unfinished manga on my list. the site i use to read manga on keeps track of everything for me, so that's good enough for me
speaking of which, i admire you for being able to finish anime before starting another. almost 100 of them as well
are you relatively new to this community? i see you joined in 2019. which, to be fair, is a couple years at this point so i guess you can't be considered that new. i remember joining when i did and thinking i was really late. time is a funny thing
I don't think any of them influence him, I think he made that decision to change it, in every interview when it talks about the ending he always sounds like he wasn't sure on the ending he will make, but in 2018 when he showed us the final panel I thought he had finally made up his mind.
Funny enough the final panel is a hint that he did modify the ending from what he had in mind in 2018, as the final panel tease wasn't the final panel at all and instead just a little bubble in a single page, the baby doesn't even look like the baby in the final panel, that baby lack bushy bro and look at the nose, this may seem like a stretch by some, but it looks like Historia baby.
There is other things that I could point out, but I use that as an example because that is the best proof that he had modified the ending.
Personally when I first watch it when it was streaming I didn't like it, plus I watching the stream in low resolution so that didn't help, after rewaatching it in HD and seeing the movements of the titans its really not that bad, the movements weren't Jarring like most cgi movements in anime especially the saw titan he was moving very quickly despite it being cgi.
I got use to it after watching it a few time and I can live with it and that is probably because of the good direction of the series everything else was done really good in my opinion, I would give the cgi a 6 or 7/10 overall.
I have also watch a lot of reaction and a lot of reactors didn't even realize it was cgi, so that is a good sign. I think people will get use to it though I'm sure even including myself wish it was still 2d, but that's just how it is unfortunately.
Personally I thought the cg was pretty bad, and yeah the colossal was bad in the third season, but that doesn't give them an excuse to just go cg for every one of the 9 titans this season. Also idk why people like the opening, I give 0 fucks about whether or not there are spoilers in the opening, and it has nothing else going for it other than looking like a gender reveal party mixed with some ww2 propaganda.
