Have just started reviewing series on here. I often read reviews and think they go on for too long, when it can be summed up iin one to two paragraphs. IMO, a review is supposed to be about how you felt about a series, to convince you either to watch or not to watch it. I don't like to get into a deep analysis in a review, leaving that for discussion boards. If you want to know what the series is about, you read the synopsis, like a blurb on a book. You don't read a page long review with individual breakdowns where the whole story is told to you. That's why I'm reviewing things in the way I'd like to read a review. It'll not be in depth or with lots of detail, it'll just tell you how I felt about the series as a whole. I may have individual feelings about certain bits and will comment but that's as far as it'll go. Then you can decide if you want to watch it or not.
Feel I've watched enough anime now to finally give an opinion. I generally steam through series so watch them post season end. Am also watching some older series while I go so you'll get a variety of ages from me. Hope it helps some people at least.
If you feel my reviews weren't helpful, I'd greatly appreciate your thoughts on how I could make them better - for example: what to focus on, and why. Primarily though, I like to keep them short and sweet. Likewise, if you appreciate my review, I'd love to know what bits you enjoyed and why. Thanks!

Loved anime since watching Kimba the white lion as a lad and then Transformers and Mysterious Lost Cities of Gold. Stopped watching throughout my teens as it just wasn't available where I lived, but then the internet came about and I was able to divulge in it again.
I'm a 30-something-year-old bloke from New Zealand, now living in Australia but lived in the UK and the Middle East. Always loved my animation. Always a Subs man. Ma Waifu is 3D and not a anime fan but there we go. As real life tends to get in the way from my anime watching, I tend to be at least a season behind so I don't have to wait between episodes. I'm not too particular with what I watch and if I start something, I always finish it, eventually (Tamayura will be finished one day). I generally download it if the premise sounds okay and then let Kodi decide my next fix by choosing a random series. Makes the choices easy!
Anything else, ask me.
