I identify as a squirrel. I am opposed to real life drama and socializing as a rule. I hate exercise as well. I'm pretty pessimistic and perfectionistic to the point of OCD. And I watch anime and read manga way too much for my own good.
I mostly read and watch romances and comedies but I have experience with other genres as well.
I enjoy character development and witticism and I like making fun of cliches and often laugh at anime and manga that are not comedies, sometimes at the most dramatic moments simply because I can't relate to drama and therefor don't take that stuff seriously. I like many types of characters including cute characters, characters with dark backstories, overpowered characters, yankees (I don't know why but I have a soft spot for them), lazy or apathetic characters, and badass female leads. Gap moe is good.
I get very annoyed with fanservice and female characters with low self-esteem or intelligence. I also hate incest stories (doesn't matter if there is blood relation or not) and am not fond of large age gaps. I tend to harshly critique stories of all kinds but am pretty lax with overall ratings in comparison. I also dislike the male archetype in shoujo stories that is a misunderstood badboy. I think they are mostly just dicks even if they are good looking or have some redeeming qualities. I can't stand anything eccchi, hentai, yaoi, or yuri I don't mind adult themes but I really don't want to SEE that ero crap and shows and manga that focus on that stuff are usually plot-less and stupid anyway.
I like shounen ai and shoujo ai stories since they often have good plots and cute couples and will rate them with the same ruler as hetero romances. I also don't ship couples just because they are gay and dislike when people insert their gay ships in stories that are clearly hetero or when people hate on female characters in shounen ais or male characters in shoujo ais simply because of their genders or that they are a nuisance to the ship.
I think I am up to date on my anime list but my manga list is far from complete. Plus, I read lots of webtoons and korean comics and stuff that aren't on myanimelist anyway.
