My real name is Michael, thus the Maikeru portion of my name. The Shinigami part I added on just because it meant 'Lord of Death'. I was born on May 14th, 1990, so you can figure my age out for yourself. I spend most of my time watching anime, writing or playing video games. I major in Liberal Arts and minor in Education. My plan is to become both a writer and a video game designer. I don't date, at least not right now. While I don't have enough money, I would rather focus on doing what I want to do. Being a writer is way more important to me than having a girlfriend.

I have already completed four books for a six part series, and am over a third through with my fifth. It's hard to explain what my books are like, but they include a lot of genres in them. Some of the genres that I include most are Action-Adventure, Comedy, Dark Fantasy, Psychological, Suspense and Tragedy. I do have some other genres that are included such as Mystery and Romance, but they aren't quite as used as the others. My books are basically two trilogies, where one trilogy is the sequel trilogy to the first trilogy. The books assume that every myth we have been told is either true or at once was true. So, references to Greek Mythology, the Bible and other things can be found at times. I modeled it to have a bit more of an anime feel and go into deep subjects at times.

My lists on this page do not have every anime I've seen or every manga I've read. The reason I have so many 7s and higher is because most of the animes I remembered were ones that I really enjoyed. I also rate things fairly high. For anime, I seem to usually enjoy the Comedy, Drama, Harem, Mystery, Psychological and Slice of Life animes most. I have plenty other genres I enjoy too however. All in all, I can pretty much watch any genre. I don't read manga as much as I watch anime, mainly because I like to see things in motion. I do still read One Piece, Fairy Tail and The World God Only Knows however.
