The first anime that I watched was Neon Genesis Evangelion on Adult Swim back in high school. Well, I guess you could say that it was Pokemon and some of those old Saturday morning cartoons but I didn't even know what anime was back then so I don't really count them. I hated NGE when I first saw it, I went back and watched it again a few years later and really enjoyed it. I eventually saw some other shows that I liked on Adult Swim and that kicked off my downward spiral into the abyss of anime. I moved on to manga not too long after that and much prefer it to anime. Honestly, I can't stand most anime anymore. Too many crappy ecchi shows are out there nowadays. Action, Comedy, Romance are my favorite genres. Well, so long as the action has some other element to it. I don't like those shounen style shows that are just pure fighting and nothing else, they bore me.

I am always looking to talk to people about anime and manga so feel free to message me. None of my friends around here are into this kind of stuff so it isn't something I get to discuss often.
