May God bless you with all great things ahead. Give you good health and longevity.
you got steam or battlenet?
I wouldn't compare this to aot at all really, the thing I love about aot is how intense it can be, also the characters, like how can you not love sasha where as Made In Abyss had its intense moments but I wouldnt say those moments matched up to some of aot's battles and the characters just felt like part of the story, thats a horrible way to word it, let me put it this way. I would probably watch a show with aot's characters in a completely different setting and still fall in love with some of them/enjoy watching the rest too while I can't say the same for this show. On the note that you were making about aot, aot relies alot more on flashbacks where as I feel here the vast majority l shown at the beginning of the story.
As I was saying with the nudity, I really did think most of them were needed and added to the story, I just kinda felt like the one was thrown in there for the sake of it and personally when watching anime I like to think that I wouldn't be embarrassed if someone walked in on me watching it. Still it definitely didn't take away from it as even that scene was done in a professional and mature manor.
Yea starting the manga will either a wise decision or a horrible one that's basically a spoiler art book. I'm in the same boat with aot and the same boat I was in with game of thrones, the quality of the anime is nothing less then astonishing but I want more of the story and I do know that sometimes the manga is better then the anime, take btooom! for example.
ps.sorry if this is a mess to read I haven't slept and I cba to read over this essay of a response.
While I feel like it was necessary to show that he was partially human and that they were getting closer, I also feel that one of the scenes where she got half naked was unnecessary which made me feel a little uncomfortable. All in all though it was pretty dam perfect, this has the potential to be a masterpiece and has me thinking about starting the manga.
you don't take as long as I do to reply. so it isn't okay. I have some sort of communication problem, lol, I seem to be unable to communicate properly like a normal human being. I'm telling you in advance, because I will piss you off. .-.
yes I'm from the Netherlands. I grew up there and although I've lived in England for almost half my life now, I still speak Dutch everyday. My real father is Persian/ Indian, so I guess that is my ethnicity.
I usually just say indian/ arab to keep the conversation simple but if you want an accurate answer then I'm actually Persian. ._.
yes, me too, I'd also like to invest more time in Western shows. perhaps it will be a good experience. my classmates keep recommending shows but I never end up watching any. I do spend time reading books and then stopping halfway like an idiot. I don't wanna treat shows like that. ._. hopefully we'll learn something from watching them. I don't like to invest time in things that will teach me nothing.
I plan to watch Suits. I keep hearing about Breaking Bad too.
the thing with Monster is.. you don't notice the outdated art style once the story has swayed you. you can compare it to love. once you have set your heart on someone, does your love become less if they become sick? or if they anger you? I'd hope not - if it's "true love" - whatever the hell that means ._.
my point is that the plot in Monster the anime overweights the unattractive and dull aesthetics.
I have never actually watched Turkish drama by myself. I've just seen bits of it when other people around me were watching. I'm not a fan, but maybe I've judged too early. I'll try watching your favourite one. hopefully the Arabic dub is okay. I don't understand arabic well,. not at all. but I'm still curious. I'll try watching it. Kuzey Güney. (o.o)
my cousin is married to a Turk and is pretty much a Turk herself now as she speaks it fluently and lives there. I baked their wedding cake. they will be proud of me if I embrace the language too ._.
have you watched the second season of Arslan Senki? I just downloaded it today. it has just 8 episodes. I already doubt its quality. how can 8 episodes do justice. nope nope nope.
so your plan is to socialise more. that's a good plan. just do iiiiiiiit.
it will be such a great help. I've been socialising more since last year. I think it was a good choice. I've made friends who actually tell me when they don't like something rather than pretending everything is okay and jolly .-.
so I recommend it, hahaha. just don't end up doing drugs. ._.
I'm not actively studying German. I started it sometime ago but I didn't continue so I guess I'm back to square one. (Back to square one is apparently a German film from the nineties. I just googled "square one" and discovered it. ._.)
Monster is a great anime. I was watching it steadily back then but I gave up all of a sudden, and I don't know why. I stopped watching stuff all together. right now I've just started watching again. a new TV show called Stranger Things, on Netflix. I'm going to download Monster episodes so that I may continue while taking breaks from studying.
hahaha I'm surprised you watched Turkish dramas. they're so dramatic. well duh .-. they are dramas after all. you know I find it really funny when dramas are dubbed because the lip syncing just looks awful. I can't take it seriously.
it's nice to hear you're Arab. My mother is half yemeni-omani, and I have Arab friends. I'm not English, in case you thought I am. I'd like to learn Deutsch because a friend of mine is German and I thought it'd be nice if we could speak German to each other. although that was my original motive,. it has changed. I find German a nice language. truly. the complicatedness of it. how it sounds so distinguishable, etc. and also, my first language is Dutch so that really helps. generally all Germanic languages have similarities but it is apparent that Dutch and German really have correlation. in terms of grammar maybe not, but words yes.
I'm sorry for responding so late.
I understand the importance of using still shots for some scenes, but there's a time and place for everything. Using still shots in an artistic way is great, but for Kabaneri it was clear the intent was there to cut around corners. So I don't mind still shots. I think they work wonders stories at times.. For example, in the original Berserk anime they used it for a scene where it showed Guts looking up at Berserk on the stairs. That shot should the relationship they had and their position without the distraction of animation, or in Evangelion when it was used in the elevator scene to create tension. Now those are examples for still shots done right. But for Kabaneri, most of the still shots were a means to avoid animation, and not used to highlight pivotal moments throughout the story. I hope that makes sense.
