Oww this story. It made so emotional. I started crying at the part where she read to book to him and told him not to give up on his dreams and cried all the way till the end.

I gotta say, I am VERY impressed with your favourites. Also, if you're looking for some story-based anime that might bring tears to your eyes, I'd recommend A Silent Voice and Violet Evergarden.

I had actually watched Oregairu way back to when I was like in middle school lol. That is definitely an OG anime in my case and I remember actually liking it despite how weird it was. Hmm, maybe that was what started my love for shows like these. But I haven't heard of Kono Oto Tomare and the cover looks interesting so I will have to definitely check that out! Thank you for the recommendations and please let me know of any others in the future!
