Only reason I was going to check out the NGNL novel is because theres probably never going to be a season 2 since season 1 was just a promo... I can't imagine it being as good anyway without the Japanese voice actors. They did a really good job (especially compared to what you just showed me).

As for the books you told me to look into, I think the only one I actually might get involved in is All You Need is Kill. Umineko looks like too much of a time investment and I don't really want to spoil Kizu for myself by reading the novel.

I am removing some series that I had previously recommended to you: NGNL, Mirai Nikki, and Btooom!.
The new priority order is now: Tatami Galaxy, Shinsekai Yori, Kill la Kill (drop if you don't like first episode), Death Note/Code Geass (Pick one), Katanagatari, Noragami... NGE (you'd probably like this even if I didn't)
