I've seen some video recordings taken at anime expos on youtube and they look pretty fun. I like when the voice actors repeat famous lines of their characters and then all the fans cheer :). One of them was of Tomokazu Seki yelling random lines from Full Metal Panic. It was cute :D And there's one of two voice actors doing a yaoi play :P I'm sure you'd like to see that one hehe..but it doesn't have English subs -_-. It's easy to tell because of all the girls screaming though.

Lol, I don't know why I thought it was Polish :P Oh well....I've mostly only watched Hollywood & Bollywood movies...the BW ones were really a waste of my life as most of them are copies of HW ones -_-

Haha, yeah I do think the Asian movie industry has a lot of advantages over Hollywood and some others. For example, the actors can actually act! :P. It's also annoying how Hollywood remakes Asian horror movies and then just makes them about 10x worse. I haven't seen enough of them to have a favorite actor or anything unfortunately..I love Jackie Chan's older movies though (the ones that weren't made in Hollywood).

Ah...I know what a ski jump is now :P I guess I somehow never heard of that phrase before...

By the way, I listened to some of Gakht's songs and I really liked them. Thanks for the recommendation again!

Do you like Polish movies? I watched only one I think...it was called Kolja (or Kolya). It was about the relationship between a boy and his father I think. It was pretty cute :P

You like watching skiing?(if that's what you mean by ski jumping). I'm a pretty terrible skier. I fall A LOT..it's so embarrassing when I go to Tahoe with friends. They always make fun of me (some friends they are..).

Hehe you go to a lot of conventions don't you :P I've never been to one but now you're making me kind of curious...Are you one of those people who dress up as the characters when you go to them? :P

My summer kind of sucks so far to be honest. I had relatives stay over for about 2 weeks(longest 2 weeks of my life) and went to lots of places with them (but nowhere interesting). So they wasted about 2 weeks that I could have spent hanging out with friends( or at least people who don't annoy me to death).

But obviously I've also been watching a lot of anime :P since I don't watch T.V.(there's nothing good on anymore now that my favorite show is off the air). And my school starts again in one month and it's my last semester so I'll be graduating. I'm also trying to look for a job but I'm having trouble because of my crappy resume :P

I guess it's weird for me to look for something realistic in anime but I just see so much stuff that start out with so much potential and then end up being full of fan service and cliches. It gets tiresome to me. But yeah, you're right, the heterosexual relationships are also often over-the-top.

Yeah, NSN is a hentai but I think it has a few similarities with Boku no Pico anyway :P

Anyway, you're on summer break right? Have you done anything fun? :)

It's not that it's because it's a gay relationship that I felt awkward...I just find some shounen-ai a little too...over-the-top :P Like they parade the fact that they're gay rather than make it realistic. It makes gay people look silly if someone were to take it seriously. Loveless was better in that respect but I didn't really enjoy it because it was kind of boring :P....so I don't know, maybe I'm the one with the problem..lol.

Of course they all are better than Boku no Pico...but the only thing worse than Boku no Pico is Night Shift Nurses :P (don't watch that!)

I remember when I first watched Gravitation(my introduction to shounen-ai) I felt extremely awkward watching it. I actually dropped it temporarily after the first 3 episodes. But then I forced myself to try again and I ended up enjoying it as a sort of guilty pleasure :P. The music is so catchy too and the theme music is sweet.

Usami scares me a little :P. I'm not sure I want to know what he does with his teddy bears when no one's looking...

haha.yeah, i love doing marathons too. the longest so far was when i was watching naruto (180 eps) + 4 inuyaha ovas. i watched for 3 days straight. only breaks were bathroom breaks and getting food. my eyes were sore afterwards. lol.
