I firmly believe if you can look past certain ingrained Japanese cultural degeneracies, you will find a link that brings one up to God.
Every story has fractions of the mission of God recorded in the bible. Many secular stories that are good, fall into place through society, our world, due to our universal natures. The good book is those stories perfected, with a clear logic and truth that includes you right now, from your past to your future. God has made it clear its inescapable, but its up to you to determine whether you accept said reality or not, and if you dont, prepare for uncontrollable suffering by your own doing.
For some reason anime slice of life narratives point to these stories with a high degree of accuracy, it is some of the most transcendent media I have ever seen. It has helped me build a bridge to those who consume these stories who don't understand their nuanced underlying message. They are heavy with symbolism, and their slow pace allows the mind to absorb themes and messages so that they hit their mark with those patient enough to see it through. However when done incorrectly they can cause great harm, even I myself can now see why, where as before I couldn't fathom the appeal of this medium.
As I began watching, it was daunting how clear they make small yet powerful images of a truly peaceful, and wonderful heaven on the rotting Earth!... Any other view is a mistake, and a dangerous one that leads to exponential disorder.
