I don't recommend watching it. Yumikuri is a great ship, it's my number one OTP of all time, but it's so goddamn painful D:

To be honest, Valkyrie Drive is kinda meh (even for an ecchi lover like me) so I can't say I'd recommend that you pick it back up or anything. I will say though, episode 5 has to be one of the most RIDICULOUS beach episodes I've ever seen in any anime, period. It might be worth watching that episode by itself just for the experience ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Ah that's too bad :( I used to be active on tumblr... but these days not so much. When I'm not too busy with college I'm usually on discord playing Overwatch or watching anime with my bros. But anyway, it was nice meeting you.

Hey, I just got back home from class! Thanks for the recommendations! I was surprised that you took the time to provide me with background info on them too. You must really enjoy writing (which is cool because I enjoy reading ^__^).

I know of "manhwa" because I used to read it in Yen Press magazines, but I've never heard of "manhua" before. It's always kind of weird for me to read non-manga comics translated from other languages because I'm never sure how to pronounce the characters' names lol. The characters look interesting though so I'll be sure to check it out.

Yuri Kuma Arashi is a show that's been on my PTW for awhile, but I kinda forgot about it lol. I've seen quite a lot of anime, so weird doesn't turn me off at all haha. Speaking of weird, have you seen Valkyrie Drive: Mermaid? That's probably the weirdest yuri I can think of off the top of my head.

BTW, do you use Discord or skype?

ohhh okay lemme think... some of my favorite yuri/shoujo-ai that come to mind are Girl Friends, Sono Hanabira, and Yuru Yuri. If Madoka counts then that's definitely my all-time favorite (MadoHomu 4 life). In terms of preferences, moe and angst are my guilty pleasures. I'm fairly open-minded though so I'll most likely enjoy whatever you recommend.

Have you played the Weekly Brawl for this past week? I tried it out last night and had a blast playing Pharah! She's definitely one of my favorite heroes to play in Overwatch.
