Command: Analyse the world with your piercing gaze, Akisame!
Shikai: Can manipulate any non-living object (including clothing) within 20 meters of itself by re-forming it's spirit particles to suit the occasion.
Spirit: A beautiful female with long silver hair and green eyes in a shihakusho wearing a wolf's pelt over her head/shoulders, like a hood. Her hair falls out the front of the hood, rather than down the back).
Appearance: A black Kazari tachi with a silver ito and a small ornamental wolf's head at the end of the handle. It has a slim guard allowing more fluidity in movement.
Abilities: 1: Kuukan Sousa (Space Manipulation) - Can manipulate any non-sentient object (including clothing) within 20 meters of itself by re-forming it's spirit particles to suit the occasion.
2: Bunri (Detached) <Kido Spell name> - Sends the kido spell from the Handle ornament instead of the user, useful when seperated from the zanpakuto and in need of a distraction.
3: Tengoku no Kouzui (Heaven's Deluge) - High-pressure water blades can be shot by swinging the zanpakuto or thrusting with it. Swung shots will appear similar to Getsugatensho, while thrust shots will appear similar to Halibel's release. In Bankai, the blades multiply (giving the swung shots the appearance of InuYasha's Wind Scar, and the thrust shots similar to a shotgun.
The power of the ability increases greatly if the name is used, but can be used without the name in reactionary battles.
4: Ryuutai Kaiseki (Fluidic Analysis) - Water can be condensed into darts using external water sources, or from Tengoku no Kouzui. It can be condensed so tightly that it can make superficial cuts on a target and mix a sample (such as water, blood or even reiatsu) into the dart of condensed water. The darts will form into small orbs and re-absorb into the zanpakuto's blade, storing themselves in the hand guard until needed. The water can also infuse itself with these samples without cutting, but this is limited to things that can be absorbed without damage (reiatsu, open sources of water/blood, etc.).
Similar to Tengoku no Kouzui, the name isn't required in general, but may be necessary for cutting through tough opponents like the hierro of an Espada.
5: Inochi no Mizu (Water of Life) - By channeling the user's reiatsu through the blade, water with healing properties (similar to the hot springs in Yoruichi's training grounds) can be extracted from the wolf's mouth. This technique takes time, and cannot be used during combat (nor can it be used in Bankai form).
Bankai: Name: Tenkyuu no Akisame (Autumn Rain from a Cloudless Sky)
Spirit: The girl from before now has a sleeveless white outfit (almost like a shihakusho in general style - it's torn a lot, and the entire midriff is exposed, showing more of her body which is exceptionally slender but muscular - think Greek Goddess). It's still torn as before (the right leg is torn completely to above the knee, with the left leg being torn to mid/lower shin length), and her left eye is now violet. Her hair is golden and in a wavy bob cut rather than the long style from before. She has the same armour/wings as described below. The wolf hood is gone entirely, but she retains some of the wolf-like charm in her piercing gaze and slightly elongated canines.
Appearance: General Appearance of blade doesn't change. However, the ito is now Gold and the rest of the blade is white. From the ornamental wolf's head comes arm armour which wraps around the arm, slithers across the back (forming golden wings in the process) and wraps around the other arm. These wings do not just make you fly (as most Shinigami seem to be able to do that anyway) but they do increase speed during aerial combat, and can be used to guard against attacks.
User Appearance: Aside from the previously mentioned wings, the user is also wearing a torn shihakusho and has a wolf's pelt hood/mantle.
Abilities: The user is encased in a layer of nano-film commonly referred to as "Umi no Ikari" (Wrath of the Ocean). This is due to the fact that, not only does the film half the damage taken, but inflicts that half on the opponent in the form of an identical wound (if I get cut across the chest, so does the opponent). If the armour on the arms is damaged, even if I take no damage, the attacker still takes half the damage inflicted on the armour.
It can also seal 1 of the attacker's abilities (anything from Hadou 61 to Bankai), but to do this you must sacrifice Umi no Ikari and heal 50% of the enemy's wounds. You must also have touched their zanpakutou with yours.
On top of this, it retains all of the Shikai abilities, minus the Bunri and Seimei no Mizu abilities.
Inner World:
A grassy cliff by the ocean. The waves are turbulent and the rain is heavy and slashing. There's thunder and lightning occasionally, and a path leading straight from the edge of the cliff to a small old-fashioned shelter (Japanese style, glassless windows with fold-up shutters and the curtained entrance with saloon-style wooden doors that can be closed from the inside during particularly stormy winds).
The Death of Aizen (Story)
Clash. Boom. Fwhoosh. Ching. The constant tremors of reiatsu quaking through Las Noches as Kurosaki Ichigo confronts his final, greatest enemy; Aizen Sousuke. But alas, the battle is easily won... by Aizen.
“Foolish human,” he said, glaring down at the heavily bleeding shinigami, as flakes of bone-esque fragments flow away like dust from his mortified face, “To kill my espada and think you could take me on, as if I were at the pitiful level as they were..."
W...how? HOW DO YOU HAVE THAT MASK?!” screamed a bemused Ichigo, whose defeat had left his thinking fundamentally flawed to such an extent that he had completely forgotten about the the powers of the hougyouku.
“I think it’s about time we parted, human.” Uttered Aizen, “You put up a good fight. The deaths of those shinigami Captains who lost their lives to save your hide were not completely in vain. But alas, you failed to defeat me... and without my death, everything you’ve fought for has been useless... now... Die.”
As he brought down his zanpakutou, there was a sudden flash of light. Through the screams of Kurosaki Ichigo, the cries of multiple arrancar and the crash of Las Noches wall rubble, came a man. Or rather, a teenager. A teenager we know all too well.
“What’s this, Ichigo?” questioned the shadowed figure, “I never thought I’d see you this way.”
As the man stepped out of the shadows, his true nature, true identity was revealed... He was... Keigo Asano.
The crown, the purple and red shihakusho... it should all have given it away. The zanpakutou slung over his back was reminiscent of Excalibur. Direct eye contact made even Aizen tremble, unable to move from the fear incited in him by this man. This was the true King of Soul Society; the present incarnation. You see, quite unlike most royalty, when the king of Soul Society dies, he is reincarnated. In a cycle, of course. Hollow, Shinigami, Human...
Making no sound at all, the king effortlessly unsheathes his sword.
"Aizen Sousuke... Your reign of terror has gone on for long enough..." said Asano-dono, brandishing his zanpakutou in one hand. "Living in the Shadows all this time, Come forth, Beloved Bellflower of God!"
A flash of light... and then... Nothing. Nothing was perceived between the release of the Royal Zanpakutou, and the upper half of Aizen Sousuke’s body colliding with the curiously white (and now red) floor of Las Noches.
For, in fact, the King’s zanpakutou had cut through the traitor so quickly, that not even the quickest speaker could have called "Treason!" in the same length of time.
"K..Keigo?!" called a bemused and not-far-from-dying Kurosaki, “I...It can’t be! You can’t be the king of Soul Society!” Flashbacks of years of dealing abuse flashed through his mind as he stared dumbfoundedly towards the King.
“NOOO! I WILL NOT ACCEPT THIS!!!” screamed Raellu, “ISSHIN IS THE KING!”
Before he could do anything else, a small crowd consisting of Raellu, Yuki-kimiko and CeroStrife crushed Ichigo on their way towards Asano-dono.
“WE WON’T ACCEPT YOU!” the three rehearsed in harmony, “ISSHIN FOR KING!”
And, before anything else could be said, Isshin appeared at the King’s side.
“Sorry, ladies.” Replied Isshin in a surprisingly cool way, “I’m just the head of the Royal Guard. This guy is the real king.”
“Fufufufufufufu” came a mysterious laugh from the shadows, “It looks like I was right.”
Schmee walked out from behind Aizen’s chair, along with Stroeum, towards the group. “Now, do you see? Keigo-dono is the king, whether you like it or not.”
“Hai, Schmee-sama” replied the three girls, again in perfect harmony, “We were foolish to have doubted your supreme perceptive abilities.”
And with that, the story of Aizen’s death came jolting to an end. Well, it didn’t REALLY end there.
There were military funerals for Captains Zaraki, Unohana, Hitsugaya and Byakuya.
Gin was found to have been secretly reducing the power of the Arrancar, thus allowing him credit to Soul Society as their spy.
Tousen was turned into a normal human as punishment and lived his days alone with his pet dog, Kocchan.
Ichigo was treated for trampling injuries and loss of more blood than common sense would tell you was in his body.
Keigo took his seat in the King’s Castle.
Ichigo, Rukia and Renji were made Captains (of the 11th, 6th and 5th squads, respectively), following their immense power-up in Las Noches.
Also, the souls of the deceased Orihime, Sado and Ishida also became Shinigami Captains (of the 4th, 9th and 6th squads, respectively), filling in for the recently departed in the aptly dubbed “Battle of Las Noches”.
Finally, Kon was given an experimental gigai from Urahara, allowing him to channel his Reiatsu and become a Shinigami. He currently occupies 11th squad’s 7th seat.
Best of luck to you becoming a psychiatric nurse after you graduate. Hopefully, your country doesn't pull the "loads of experience first, college education last" nonsense the U.S. labor market does when trying to get hired for your desired job.
Ah, I see you finished the Spirit Detective saga and now moving to the Dark Tournament saga in Yu Yu Hakusho. You're gonna love it!
Ah man, OoT and MM are both amazing. MM is freaking tough. I remember my brother and I giving up on that snowy mountain until months ago, he finally figured out how to counter that.
Bleach wasn't for me, but thank you, though. I do like Rukia, Yoruichi, Rangiku, Kenpaichi, and Kon a lot.
They might be in the same universe since they're made by Monolith. However, Xenoblade is Nintendo exclusive, which would make it a 2ND party game series. I remember how cool the Xenosaga games are back in the PS2 days. Man, did I love PS2 back then. Never owned one, but I personally LOVED its game roster. It was like SNES for Sony.
I hear Rhajat is supposed to be a re-incarnation or descendant of some sort of Tharja. Hehe the pairing system sounds interesting. ^_^
Honestly, I don't play many RPG's, though I'm interested in a few games (except for 2 or 3 Legend of Zelda games and Pokemon Red/Blue and Gold/Silver games). Aside from some Fire Emblem, some Legend of Zelda, I still want to check out the Bravely series and the Xenoblade series. I remember liking the storylines in Tales of Symphonia and Final Fantasy 9 (Vivi is still my fav character!).
Yeah Awakening is what is getting me interested in the series. Hehe you can do yuri pairs? Nice. ^ω^ Nintendo of America is finally starting to grow balls. I mean they released Bayonetta 2 (I LOVE that game!).
I almost forgot to recommend another 90's anime you should check out: Martian Successor Nadesico. It's a parody/satire/homage whatever you call it for the mecha genre. XD
I'm interested in the Fire Emblem series. I never got to play any of them. I love the characters in Smash Bros series, though. Other than that, Tharja from Awakening is hot (her outfit is creatively bold, I'd say) and that tall purple hair step sister from Fates, too. Lyndis is cute.
You're right about Gintama being an episodic comedy series. But that's NOT ALL there is to it. You have to keep catching up on the series to appreciate the whole work. It's another great Shueshia Jump series and for good reason. I mean if you like the charms YYH and the Dragonball series have, Gintama should be up your alley.
I've heard bad things about DB Super's animation. But being a Frieza fanboy myself, Resurrection F was fucking amazing! I cried tears watching Goku and Vegeta beat down Frieza. I've been repeating many scenes and dialogues. For a movie that's about an hour and a half, it took me 3 hours to finish 'cause I loved it all, man. I was even more surprised at where Frieza ended up with his metal body at the beginning and how he knows (of) Majin Buu, much less his defeat. Now him knowing Beerus is expected. That tells me a couple things:
1) The canonical movies and Super both follow up on DBZ Kai, not the original DBZ.
2) It implies Cell should know of Beerus and Buu since he has Frieza's DNA (and his defeat on Earth with King Cold).
3) Frieza never met Cell or got his ass kicked by Pikkon.
4) Frieza along with Cell never really watched Goku fight Kid Buu in what I call now "Filler Hell".
5) Toei lied to us about 3 and 4 above all these years when showing them Lol. XD
You should check out Slayers, Sorcerer Hunters, You're Under Arrest, Tenchi Muyo, and Saber Marionette J if you're looking for 90's anime. The original Sailor Moon anime too. It's got hot, cute girls fighting in short skirts. ^ω^
If you go the MAL front page, there's an article about samurai anime. It includes my favs Gintama and Samurai 7 (very underrated). There's also the Hyakka Ryouran series (underrated as hell) but it's more of an ecchi comedy. However, when those women are in Master Samurai mode, they can sure fight!
Kuwabara is awesome once you get to know him. You'll like the main team a lot. Heh, Botan is still pretty cute. Heck, the show's got some pretty cute girls.
Watching Yu Yu Hakusho and liking it already? Awesome. It gets better in every saga. It's such a criminally underrated series. Even Naruto and Bleach wouldn't exist if not for Hakusho. You'll see what I mean.
That's fine. I'm not a computer whiz (I still don't even know what a cookie is or what it does) so I don't know a thing about hacking.
Me too. Frieza is one of my fav characters, as well as my fav villain in DBZ and all of anime. So you can tell how happy I was that he's back by Akira Toriyama's writing. It's ironic that he gets resurrected by the very things he had obsessed over while he was on Namek.
