Hmm I wouldn't say I do have a preference for old anime though I don't consider a lot to actually be old. If I was alive they aren't old to me XD

When it comes to FMA I watched both series back to back. I mostly prefer the art style, soundtrack, and themes of 2003 over 2009 but both are favourites. I just feel like 2003 is overlooked when it's its own unique standalone show that has now sadly become difficult to access legally in many countries. If it hadn't been such a success then 2009 would not exist.
