I can see a lot of you people did not read the manga at all.
This series babies Black Jack's character so much to make him too nice that he's literally nothing like his manga self. There are too many dumb changes and edits made to it. Some episodes were alright but the really good stories were pretty much decimated and/or left out altogether.
The art is perfect. The music is fine. It's just that the stories are over-edited and Black Jack was transformed into a literal, soft Teddy Bear.
I give this version of Black Jack a very strong ... "Meh"
