What is not a waste of time is considering joining the best seasonal club on MAL called the Anime Guild.
We do several competitions award best Opening, Ending, Character and Anime of the Season.

I think what he is trying to say is that it is childish in it's execution rather the gore and whatnot. Not everything with blood and gore is mature and not everything without such is childish. Such as one could argue the video game Call of Duty is childish even though it has a heavy amount of blood and gore. That being said both COD and Mirai Nikki are bad.
Just as childish as one piece. If that is so, then please name me a non-childish anime.
Seriously, people here call clannad and mirai nikki trash, why do you even watch anime? for one piece? If you have that much time to absolutely waste on idiocy, please give me all your time, I can use it :D
