Why are you so upset about a plotless comedy like Gintama? It ended exactly as it began. Nothing changed so there is no plot to be bothered by.

nobody judges the last season of AOT based on the first one

Thanks for the comment! As I said in my review, I totally get that there's more to the story and I expect that Thorfinn does indeed improve and evolve as a character down the line. But I'm reviewing a 24 episode season in which Thorfinn, who gets a lot of attention and is apparently the main character, remains completely stale and stagnant throughout, has no personality, makes questionable choices and is completely overpowered for no explained reason. I mean no one even trained the kid! And for me, sitting through 24 episodes of him really detracted from my enjoyment of the anime.

But hey, we all have different opinions, and I really do get where your coming from. It just doesn't work for me. Oh, and I think the show did an even worse job with Canute, so...yeah XD
