Hey, just wanted to nitpick on your Tensura LN review about its "mature" themes. I disagree about your stance on it, since things like brutal torture or pain experiences are most definitely shown later on. Perhaps these things aren't *too* present early on, but there's definitely brutal violence throughout the series.
Hey, I been thinking of reading the time i got reincarnated as a slime cause the shows it probs one of my favs, and been wondering what the diffrne between the LN and manga is since on not a big fan of reading. I thought I would go for the manga but I wanna know if there is a big diffrence. :)
Is the car going to be for college, or you just want one :D?
New Game is a pretty comfy show, I wouldn't say you have to watch it though. I ended up really liking it though, and it has some good comedy elements to it. However it isn't a comedy focused show, so I'm not sure if it going to be for you.
I'll watch Gamers once you watch Made in Abyss >:3, but I suggest just waiting for it to finish airing before even starting it.
Also out of my own curiosity, what would you score BHA s2? I think it is a really fun show to watch, but I honestly don't think it is amazing.
I was going to be watching weekly Gamers! but I had already chosen quite a few shows, and the two I left out ended up being Youkoso and Gamers! :P Yeah I don't have much trust in MAL scores now, back in the day I could use the ratings to kind of gauge what others thought about them in relation to me. Although I don't know if I have changed or scores are just even more inflated now.
I gotta say though, this season as a whole has been one of the worst imo. The only two shows that I really like are, New game s2 and Made in Abyss. While there are two other shows I think are decent, Koi to uso but feels like it is never getting anywhere. Knights and Magic has the interesting aspect of making mechas rather than just piloting them which is pretty fun. Everything else has some enjoyable aspects to it, but are honestly really meh and forgettable. Also Boku no hero, and SnB which are carrying over from last season are still really enjoyable to watch.
Although looking at next seasons line up just makes me really happy :)
Did you get the superclocked version of the graphics card, or just the regular one? I did hear that the regular one didn't have that good of a heatsink compared to the superclocked, so I just dropped 50 extra dollars for it. These are supposed to be efficient cards I think, and stock power should've been enough. I'm guessing yours fried or something. Sucks to hear man :(
My bad man, I've just been off of mal lately since I'm not watching as much anime. Also I have been super busy with work, but I'm still watching some seasonals just not updating though atm. So don't worry, I'm alive and well :D
Also nice that we have the same graphics card :D, good performance and the size is convenient for a good cost.
I was going to check out Youkoso after it finishes airing, I see you don't think that highly about it. What are your impressions? I did hear somewhere that it was going to be similar to snafu or something.
Kakegurui is dumb fun imo. I like it for the goofy over the top faces, and the weird female leads. Although when it comes to the gambling aspect I couldn't careless about it (It feels like a poor man's Kaiji to me).
Yeah Made in Abyss has such a cool atmosphere right now. The abyss is supposed to be a really terrifying and a dark place. I'm really look forward to the direction it takes. It just has such a fresh feeling compared to everything airing this season.
I am actually surprised they managed to defeat Stain so early on, but in a way it makes sense. Although it begs the question, what is wrong with the pro heros getting outshined by students x.x I feel like there is going to be more to him, but those were some fun episodes.
Gamers is actually something I was going to watch, but since I didn't wanna overload on anime.. I decided to cut out Gamers! and Youkoso. I'll watch them when they finish airing though :D
I want to finish ISSTH someday, it is just so long and really time consuming :P
My graphics card is a gtx 1060 6b, it is pretty good.
I'm around the part where people from other planets come to Meng Hao's planet, and he basically plays a prank on all of them by being the "guardian of the temple". It was pretty great, but then it goes into so much action that I burnt out. I plan to catch up some day, but something about Xianxia is hard to get back into once you've taken a break from it. Says the last chapter I read was 820, so I'm a little over half x.x
Funny that you got a new pc, I finally bought myself a graphics card. Since my childhood days I have always wanted a good enough graphics card to play triple A games. I've been really into Dark souls 3 lately, nearing 110 hours on it. I also bought Nier:Automata and I'm looking to play it sometime soon :D
I'm watching Knights and Magic and it is pretty fun, oddly enough. A lot of source material readers did say it has been skipping a lot of material though. However, I'm liking the idea of the main character building his own mecha. It is pretty cool, like it has this scientific advancement kind of feeling. There are actually some really nice still frame drawings of a broken mecha, and it looks surprisingly detailed and cool.
Also something that you have to watch is Made in Abyss. It is easily the most interesting thing airing right now. On top of that the show is absolutely beautiful, like the background art is so amazingly drawn and detailed (turns out someone who did background art for a lot of the Ghibli movies is doing them). Just feels like it is going to be a really great adventure show.
Boku no Hero has been fun as always. Just entertaining to watch, and it has a lot of heart put into it. Source readers say the current arc is supposed to be one of the best.
Oo Nice to hear, I got kinda bored from where I left off though. Was a little tired of how broken Meng Hao was. I'll pick it up sometime soon. You still reading or no?
Nah the Author worked in the gaming industry and thought it was very hectic, so the purpose of New game is to make a cute show in what would generally be a dreading environment. I remember when it was airing there was quite a few people who were disappointed it wasn't like Shirobako/Bakuman based on games. It does have some stuff focusing on character creation, and in general it is about making the game although not really focusing on very detailed stuff. More about having fun making a game with the people in the same company.
Funny thing is, I thought about Nichijou while watching Dragon maid. Simply because of the art style and dedication in the animation alone. I didn't really like Nichijou either, I thought it was meh, but gave it a 6 because of really good production. Dragon maid is like an actually entertaining Nichijou with the same type of animation quality, but with actual fun and heartwarming characters.

I'm not sure what I'd think about a Major 2 following Goro's son, since I got pretty much everything I needed out of the series.
Pretty much Agree with you about BHA 2, some good and some bad.
So what have you been up to :D?

yeah, the show can't go on with its own logic. thanks for your comment, and have a good day too :D Glad you liked my Review
