About that specific one I don't know. But same way as there are lot of sweet vanilla romance anime. They do quite some good live action adaptions that are as sweet. (excluding the manga live adaptions, as it's obvious they same/similar as Anime/manga version)

For example "Nodame Cantabile" live actions were superb.

Sadly cannot comment regarding original dramas. As I don't watch much live action either. Just now and then and mostly they are anime/manga live action adaptions.

But that trailer just looked sweet. Once im done going through current stuff I'm watching. (some series/movies + anime) I will be probably hunting few original jdramas (romance) to watch. Can give better comment then.

Hmm odd that I couldn't recognize it. I have seen that anime, loved it as well. Loved also the song "Hiiro no Kakera - Nee" .

With romance it's funny thing that in mal.gaph it was with formula speculation my "fav genre". Won't disagree, but it was close to shounen. Now shounen beats it. Which wont disagree either with. Probably shounen (mostly any type) and romance genres are my all-time-fav. Since probably I started anime. Had embarrassing crunchyroll account as well in the past.. lot of shipping and "glittery" romance topics.. sucks I didn't backup or screenshot my CR account for jokes.. Now I'm just lonely romantic at this point :D. Love in anime format.. hate "modern" / "real-life" so called """"romance""" ..the shallow, sock changing, "casual" relationships...-.- but that to that.

White Album 2 is also superb romance.. but it got a bit extra attention from me since it felt oddly personal and is probably 1 of my all-time-most-depressing romance anime. Nevertheless watched it twice or so...

Now I probably ranted too much.

I'm same as usual, aimlessly toddling around. Watching anime as usual, started a bit with manga.

:/ Not really chatting with people on MAL (mostly on Discord, and mostly with people in same country, or IRL friends) Guess somewhat remembered as well that you were actually one of few who just didn't "friend collector add", but actually did chat. (but for my at this point at this site , I just like checking "stats" page to see what "friends" or friends scored same anime as)

Hi there! I've been browsing your anime list and noticed that you had watched The Disappearance of Suzumiya Haruhi, but not the prequel TV show (The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi).

Seeing you gave Angel Beats a 10, I suggest you give Melancholy a try. Haruhi is featured a lot more (as compared to the movie), and she looks a lot like Yurippe, and whackier!
