"Everyone is a Genius, but If you judge a fish by it's ability to climb trees it will live it's whole life believing that it's stupid" -Albert Einstein
I modify it as "Every anime it's a work of Art, But if you subjected to a standard nuance criteria it will appear as garbage to the eyes of the masses"
People are so afraid to appear stupid that we place blame onto expositions whenever we don't understand them to appear less incompetent.
Yeah world-building is something that not even the writer knows how to handle as he has said.
He doesnt even know if hes good or bad at it.
But at least hes trying to fiz his mistake, which as he said derived from he reluctance to rewrite the story.
He is currently publishing SAOP and SAO AGGO (alternative gun gale online) that serve in doing just that.
I used to deem most girls to be unnecessary or even an easy way for the story to develop...
no they are not, there is a reason why they are girls (maybe except Silica, but there is no prob with her, if you ask me),
and thats because they are a team. Umm I guess thats the only way to put it. cant find a more suitable word.
Plus I bet the ending will be so that they wont be left heartbroken, not that they ever were that much, but anyway (by girls referring to Lis, Sugu and maybe Silica).
Alicization is amazing tho, the world-building which other arcs lacked is abundant and the world itself is ingenious, to put it simply, a real challenge for Kirito.
your level of vocabulary, its amazing.
Are you an innate english user or not?
Cause you know, thats some serious talent if you try to cultivate it.
Ive always been bad with words...just bad....
TBH, I dont actually deem that objectivity exists in quality.
All of those reviewers trying to be know-it-alls calling themeselves reviewers, nuh....
I just consider their reviews as subjective opinions, and thats what I think everyone should do.
However...there are still ppl who deem their opinions to be actual facts...
and thats one of the 4-5 types of ppl I hate the most.
I never even thought of it as a review. Besides, it doesnt even have the form of one.
Thanks so much tho. Im currently reading the 12th SAO vol and all I have to say is umm GJ Reki.
Its just amazing.
Are you a movie addict or maybe just a casual movie viewer? If films, animated or live-action ones are something you like, have you ever wondered about joining a club where you can discuss about your favorite movies with your friends on MAL?
If the above facts catch your interest, come and join The Cinema Club! ;)
Is it better than S1 though or the same or is possibly crapper?
Yh I plan to watch em all though. Just been into mangas a lot more though I have a problem of starting em but not finishing em lol
btw. Whats your take on SAO 2? I ain't seen it yet but I want to.
Well, that's just how it is everywhere. The West always finds their own region the most imporant, and they barely know anything about Eastern Europe. That's why they always generalize and say "Europe" when they actually mean France, UK, Germany, and Spain.
But Eastern Europe isn't that much better either. Sure, we have to learn a lot about the west in school, but we "tend to forget" that East Asia exists. We barely learn anything about Asia. We learn about China, Japan, India and Australia (although Australia is "western" and only located in Asia), and that's it.
America (the US) has the worst Geographic and Historical education so it's no wonder they never ever heard of terms like the "Balkan region", or "Eastern Europe". Americans mostly learn about their own continent, Western Europe, and the countries they have historical connections to (Russia, China, Middle East).
"Why would you keep a friend who would end your friendship over a stupid conversation?"
Response: If there was someone that I talked to and shared personal information/opinions with over a long period of time, I would consider that person a friend. Even if, we eventually butt heads and get into a heated conversation that leads to something like this. But, that's in the future, I can't predict the future, I don't know what their response might be, or how they react. If they do react in a very violent or immature way, maybe that friendship, despite how long you known that person, was not 'truly friendship'. But, at the same time, if we avoid or call a conversation/opinion 'pointless' or 'stupid', then potentially, future conversations could be considered 'pointless' or not worth discussing. That itself is not a sign of friendship.
Now, if I did say, 'Yes', at the end of my review, that would signify two things: (1) that I would give up my friendship over any conversation that involves disagreement with my personal taste; that itself is very arrogant, and (2) I would be very ignorant because I would be unwilling to hear or understand someone's else opinions.
Now, concerning Ben's aggression and immaturity...I could have tone down his attitude, but I didn't because I needed him to spout out his dislike for the series in a strong way.
