Nice. I started Origin last year but still haven't completed even a single route. Maybe I'll pick it up again after finishing some other things I've already started.

Yes, I've been at my wits' end lately, a lot of things to worry about, big an small, related to different aspects of life, and everything's been going downhill for several years straight without any hope for resolution in sight, so I'm kind of loosing my mind especially in relation to things that I have no control over. It is often said that you shouldn't worry about things you can't influence, but for me they're the most annoying ones to deal with mentally. There was a suggestion to resume taking antidepressants, but I refused for the same reasons we've discussed before. But anyway, thank you very much for your kind words, I really appreciate it and I'm very glad we're having these conversations.

Well...one romance starts with a guy forcing a girl to kiss him, there's some writing that doesn't treat sensitive subject matter with any tact, and there's also horror elements. Personally I love it, but it's not gonna be completely agreeable to everyone.

Future boy Conan: If ghibli movies don’t count, then it’s genuinely my favorite anime of all tim (though it was made by Miyazaki). It’s more old school, being from 1978, and the art style is a bit off for the first few episodes, but if you can get past that, it’s a really good, well written, and goofy show. And the laws of physics don’t exist here. It’s fun and engaging, and it needs more fans. I’m convinced I the only one in America that knows the show is a thing, let alone watched it

Irresponsible captain Tylor: Like Conan, it needs a lot more fans. It’s a very silly sci fi and space show from the 90s, and as someone who doesn’t care about the space genre too much, I loved it. Its funny, has good animation, and a really good and hooking story

Any world masterpiece theater anime: Anne of green gables, 3000 leagues, Heidi, dog of Flanders,from the ones I’ve seen, they’re all great, though be warned, a dog of Flanders is heartbreaking and has animal abuse and other tragic animal things, so if you don’t like that, skip it

Slayers: A dnd inspired anime that’s very goofy and fun

Lodoss war: Like slayers, it’s a dnd inspired anime that is a bit more serious, but honestly is really good

Lupin lll castle of cagliostro: the first fully directed Miyazaki film and it’s one of my favorite movies ever. If you can’t get into Lupin lll because of its art style, which I understand, you might like this! Everything is very ghibli like and for 1979, the animation is phenomenal! It’s extremely goofy, fun, and wacky and I love it so much. If you don’t mind the old Lupin style, parts l and ll are good, even if part l didn’t have good animation. The Part ll dub is really funny and genuinely got me rolling on the floor. Also Miyazaki worked on those two parts because of course he did, and the episodes he fully directed for part ll were really good!

Uh here are some others I don’t feel like typing out reasons why you should watch them (sorry I’m tired): Rurouni Kenshin, yu yu hakusho, Fushigi yuugi, rayearth, kodocha, cowboy bebop, evangelion, Urusei yatsura, ranma 1/2, castle in the sky, Nausicaa of the valley of the wind, whisper of the heart, Totoro, Porco Rosso, Kiki’s delivery service, princess Mononoke, creamy Mami (I know that title is really sus but trust me it’s really cute I swear), kamikaze Kaito Jeanne, dirty pair, trigun, and several others in probably forgetting. Hope you check out some of these, and I hope you’re doing good and staying hydrated! :)

That's fair. These games are long and very immersive after all; I think the only games I played back to back were Hajimari and Kuro I.
Oh, I like Yakuza series too, but I haven't progressed past Yakuza 3 yet. Not sure if I like Kiryu or Majima more.
