Its been a few years now, so some minor updates. While the below will still remain true (mostly), although aged hilariously, I decided to just keep it as is and this site will mostly be used for cataloging now.
-------------------------
I'm generally easy going and love to laugh among all else. All TV shows, anime and manga we watch reflect this. I generally like goofy comedies and silly ecchi, but at the same time absolutely love romance and drama. Nothing is better than a perfect mixture of the above genres.
Generally the genres I like to watch and read include: Romance/drama, comedy, romance/comedy, ecchi, ecchi/harem, romance/ecchi/harem and a continuous mixture of those. I can also appreciate the 'big epics' like Naruto Shippuuden and FMA:Brotherhood, and Attack on Titan. Basically shounens that cast a wide net with plot/adventure and action. Check our list for probably a more obvious list of what we speak of.
In general I have very rigid rules about how we watch anime and read manga. First off without starting any flame or seeking to belittle other's choices, I do not watch subs ever ever. We have a profound appreciation for the art of voice acting and secondly I don't speak Japanese so we cannot appreciate their dialect and vocal nuances like we can appreciate the emotion and nuance in English. I bring this up because we have chosen to be rigid about this and as such do not watch any series that isn't dubbed no matter how juicy and tantalizing they may appear.
Secondly, I hate spoilers more than anything on Planet Earth, so please if you get to know us, just take a second to ask or check list and see if we have seen something before speaking of an anime or manga we may have not seen yet or may not have yet finished.
Thirdly when it comes to manga, our OCD and 'completionist' nature has decided to be rigid on reading only manga that is completed, for I cannot stand to wait 2-4 weeks or more for the next chapter after being engrossed in a particular story. This preference definitely has an eventual expiration date (as eventually I'll have read all the things I like that are completed).
