I love stories. I live off narrative. I enjoy all forms of storytelling - novels, live-action films, sometimes plays - but I'm especially fond of animation.
Animation is limitless - it lets the animators do the impossible. It can explore any idea from any angle, can parade marvels and wonders before our eyes, and can create dazzling and impossible action scenes. Unfortunately, here in the West, animation is seen primarily as a children's genre. So imagine my happiness when I discovered anime!
I mostly watch shows with elements of fantasy, but I often branch out to other genres if trusted sources say they're worth a try.
