Hey, that's great to hear! Violet Evergarden definitely holds a special place in my heart. As of Feb 2022 (like 2.5 years after I started anime), I'd seen it 4 times already. If I hadn't slowed down since then, it'd prob be a whole lot more even, haha.

I've finally been able to get the willpower to start watching again so yeah One Piece has been the move. College already started for me on Jan 3, so since I resumed one piece last week I've been blazing through it despite hours and hours of psets. Goes to show that it's willpower and time management over anything, not a matter of how busy you are, lmao.

One Piece started slow (which is why, combined w the fact that I stopped watching much from May to the end of last year, it took since oct to get to ep 30 till last week), but after Arlong Park I really got hooked, and even though it's not crazy or anything yet, I'm enjoying it a lot. Kinda feels like maybe this is what I needed to get back into anime again because managing this kind of watching pace with my work is gonna be killer if I keep it up.

Also yeah all profile things are effectively not being updated because any time I can spare to do that I could be watching/reading, which I hadn't even been doing properly as I've said. Additionally, there's no need to keep track of awards for years that I'll never actually get through the full animeography for, lmao.

wow hey dude, it's been 2 whole years!! glad to hear you've been checkin it out :). Haven't made any changes to that sheet in terms of overall structure (like adding the accessibility section or whatever) since 2 years ago so it's all the same as usual haha.

Yeah I haven't been watching much anime at all since this last June except in the last month (tryna get back with it), so I wanted to go through an refresh my rankings to reflect some changed opinions and sprinkle in a little bit of bias (i.e. factor in personal preference for certain themes a bit more than I was before).

AoT was and is still magnificent, but I just think that taking the whole thing into consideration, I wanted to shed some light on other entries over it. I think things are bound to change more as I get older in these next few years and I inevitably end up watching less too, so I guess we'll see haha.

Aah nice! Maybe you'll like the monogatari series then, imo everything bunny girl does it does like 10× better. But might be hard to get into cuz it has very fast paced dialogues lol
