Just because they throw shit like that out there doesn't automatically make it enticing nor entertaining to look into. And even then, they are merely extensions and interpretations to be retrofitted into whatever world you want!

This line of thinking is so absurd, bro. Because it would be the interpretation and their depiction of (for example) Jesus' actions that presents how "interesting" of a concept they are! It is ONLY at that point where you can start thinking "Hey, Jesus was cool here, how cool was Jesus in the bible?" It can't be at any other point because... well... at that point you'd be reading the bible for a different reason, not just for some shitty webtoon.

And since you don't know... consuming media will always come with biases. You can read things objectively, but the moment you apply a good/bad rating, that's when it becomes subjective and biased to your own opinion. And that's fine! That's what drives community opinions and conversations! To me, that's the best part.

But you didn't even know that... You thought of the RPG part as just a lil cog in the machine... despite the fact that he literally busted out an item shop in a monster's belly. Sure, this whole RPG aspect was going to be shaved off once grander things starts happening I imagine, but then what was the point of the RPG system in the first place? Convenient, contrived, and ultimately boring storytelling.

That's all I need to say, because I ended up failing to get my point across in that review. Whatever. I treat my media as if they were worlds in of itself. So if a webtoon features "video game elements" as part of its reality, then I reserve full rights to criticize those video game elements... exactly because video game elements are literally part of their world!!! What part of this do you not understand?!?!?!

For the latter part of your comment about world history... is also just as ridiculous and absurd. I agree with you that reading ancient world history would widen my views...
