Eh... it happens. I'm not gonna lie, I take myself a little too seriously from time to time. As for the whole "too many questions" bit, well it works kind of like this: whenever I approach something like say... Tokyo Ghoul, Gantz, or Hellsing Ultimate, I expect to at least get immersed in it to *some* degree. If that immersion is broken for an extended period of time, I begin to lose interest and I start poking fun at all of the plot holes, unexplained stuff, and the like. In my mind, whenever the immersion breaks and I'm counting all the things wrong with it that I see... I imagine that little "ding" noise from a CinemaSins video pops up.
"Bloodbath" anime/manga like Tokyo Ghoul, Another, High School of the Dead, Elfen Lied, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, Gantz, Blade of the Immortal, Hellsing Ultimate, Claymore, and such cater to my love of bloody, senseless violence. It entertains me, and in some cases I can find myself actually becoming invested with what's going on. So whenever the show takes a break for some generic slice-of-life bullshit, trying to add onto the tension, build suspense, or what have you... it just becomes really boring. I mean, I love the Gantz manga but the anime pretty much required me to watch multiple episodes in one sitting before I even felt remotely satisfied, given the show's outrageously slow pacing. I can't exactly do that with Ghoul, given that it's still broadcasting in Japan and we're only on Episode 4... so, what then?
