8 highly entertaining and memorable stories that, though might be riddled with clichés, still feel fresh and engaging and feature lovable/relatable/three-dimensional characters
7 well-structured & thoroughly enjoyable
6 ah, what could have been. potential that has gone to waste. all those without the emotional impact that the creators were aiming for, all those with big build-up and poor execution of the climax (or no climax at all); these're 'low 6'. all the others that weren't good enough to get a 7, but weren't bad enough to be considered a 5 are a 'high 6'.
5 let's swim in the sea of avaregeness. nothing new to see here. might have their moments, but are easily forgettable and banal
4 managed to entertain me despite the characters, plot & production value being below average

negative scores

3 when the big 'ugh' wins over all the 'mehs']

Can you feel the chill in the air?

Ghostly spirits roam in hush, yet their presence is felt. The gleaming eyes of slinking black cats, the flares of fairies discernible through the saw-toothed pumpkins, the moon's silver ray passing the smolder of the witches' brew. All those lights serve the festivities.
The groans of monsters between the chimes of the night bells. The clinking bones of shabby skeletons, the creaking of tall mansion doors, the irksome laugh of goblins along with the more soothing flutters of the bats. All those sounds serve the festivities.

Follow the call of the hiding owls while walking down the path covered in mist, as we eagerly await you in Mafia Society for the HALLOWEEN EVENT, which is held until the 26th of this month. This event is purely for fun, and so there is no competition like there was in some previous events. It consists of the following activities, which are open to all club members in need of spooky vibes:

Horror flick simulwatch
This weekend, on October 23rd, 16:00 GMT, groupwatches of various horror movies will be occuring, using the online platform rabb.it. Sign up here.

Pumpkin carving
We will open a thread where you will be able to post your own pumpkin carvings! A website specially designed to carve pumpkins will be provided, but you are also allowed to use real ones. We will then hold votings under various categories to determine who did the best carving job!

Skype mafia
If you are in the club's Skype group, you will be able to sign up for either (or both) of the two games planned for this weekend. The first game will be with webcams (wear a costume!), while the second game will be without webcams. Follow this link to sign up. The games will happen on October 22nd, 18:00 GMT.

Youkai thread
There will be a forum thread where various youkai and yuurei-related stories will be posted. Enjoy reading those if you are interested in Japanese folklore!

Trick or Treat
Trick or Treat is a game where you will ask staff members "trick or treat" on their profiles. Your goal will be to find the staff members who will respond to you with "treat!", but you are only allowed three attempts a day. Moreover, if the staff says "treat", he will send you a challenge. Then, if you complete the challenge, you will receive candy points! If the staff says "trick", you will have to try someone else... Stick around in the club for when a thread talking about this activity will be opened!
The winner will receive a badge!

Finally, there will also be Halloween cards available! Don't miss out on them.

The club is going to change their name! Yes, it will be quite unfortunate BUT!
we hope you guys won't leave just cause we've changed our name D: We'll still
be having the same concept and providing you with many card editions from here
and there. Alongside our Loyalty Card system. There's not a real reason to change
the name but just wanted a mystical if this is even the right word for it.. feel~

Anime Challenge: Highest Score
Another Breaking News?! ಠ▃ಠ
Indeed.. I decided to want to close the Anime Challenge.. for several reasons.. even
if they're not a good reason, I'm honestly really happy that some of you joined the club
just for watching anime on other people's list ^^ We'll take a break from the anime
challenge and will be planning for extra events to make up for the loss. Don't go away
just yet cause you'll be missing quite a few thrillers~
The youtube video has nothing related to the upcoming events...
again.. it's late and I'm supposed to be sleeping ;_;

Card Editions && Claims
Pokemon Collector Edition is still ongoing?! ఠ_ఠ
For the time being, yes. It will end when 53 pokemons have been out in the field.
There's just too many pokemons out there to do so I'll need a break from it </3
Those that have been collecting them, you will be receiving a certificate. It may
come in handy, who knows.

• Events: Something like what we've had in the past like Bingo & Anime Challenge
• Cards & Claim themes are most welcomed

Blog Entries
Seriously guys.. Is Blog Entry the new trend around here? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Can't stress this enough that we understand you would like to separate comments &
blog entries for deliveries or if you disabled everything but I beg of you to at least clean
them. We don't have the right to tell you how to run your blogs BUT it's really
troublesome for people that deliver. It's best if you just save your cards and delete the
deliveries from existence or a new blog entry if you want to keep them.

Plagiarism
Putting this out there as I've mentioned in the club comments before, I do not want
to see people copying off each other's work UNLESS you got permission. (╬ಠ益ಠ)
It's unpleasant to see others copying and pasting or trying to replicate the same
content. As much as I want to ignore this, it just keeps happening and people
do notice the comparison. I'm saying this nicely but please just stop it already.
