I got back into anime in late 2013, just trying to watch/read things that suit my fancy. I also try to write reviews for titles I've completed that don't already have one, as I feel every title deserves at least something written about it.
1st Anime- Pokemon (childhood) or Soul Eater (c. 2011)
100th Anime- Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun (October 18th, 2014)
150th Anime- Kanojo to Kanojo no Neko: Everything Flows (March 29th, 2016)
200th Anime- Mononoke Hime (December 14th, 2016)
250th Anime- Shingeki no Bahamut: Virgin Soul (October 5th, 2017)
300th Anime- Kimi no Matsu Mirai (Basho) e (December 18th, 2018)
350th Anime- Gankutsuou (February 8th, 2020)
400th Anime- 5-toubun no Hanayome ∬ (March 26th, 2021)
450th Anime- Tonikaku Kawaii: Joshikou-hen (August 25th, 2023)
1st Manga- Pokemon Special (c. 2011)
50th Manga- Full Moon wo Sagashite (July 22nd, 2017)
100th Manga- Naruto Gaiden: Nanadaime Hokage to Akairo no Hanatsuzuki (January 3rd, 2018)
150th Manga- Hotel (February 2nd, 2020)
200th Manga- Nee-nee Nene-san (September 25, 2023)
10- The cream of the crop, I try to reserve this for titles I've genuinely loved, even if they have several weaknesses that would otherwise land them in 9 territory
9- Titles I've loved and would recommend to anyone. Only held back from a 10 by minor nitpicks that I can't overlook in all good conscience
8- Titles that I thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend, but may contain unbelievable plot developments or similar weaknesses (pacing issues, tone, etc.)
7- Titles I enjoyed and would recommend, but have several weaknesses either in plot or execution
6- Titles I may have enjoyed but felt they relied too much on clichés or unbelievable plot points. Would recommend to fans of a particular genre
5- My average score. While a title may have had its merits, I wouldn't recommend it necessarily
4- Titles here are slightly below average and are generally a chore to watch/read
3- Titles may offer something interesting but are overall unenjoyable
2- My lowest score. Offers next to nothing of value and genuinely unenjoyable to watch/read
1- I don't believe anything deserves a 1; someone put effort into creating a title, and even if I loathe it with a passion, I think it would be unnecessarily punitive to give it a 1
The Slice of Life Club will be hosting a Cute Competition for the next seven weeks. It's pretty much going to be the same thing as our Moe Competition, except for the fact that characters from overly popular series weren't allowed in the contest (since they always win). It's time to give other cute girls a chance to shine. There are four different groups with 32 girls in each group. One girl from each group will go on as a finalist to face off against each other in two championship rounds. Our winner and finalists will get a special card edition in their honor and a spot on the club's layout.

As you can see, we have quite the long lineup of girls for our first round. Half of them will be eliminated after this round, though, so please vote to help us decide who stays and who goes!
P.S. Due to the club having so many members, we aren't able to send out newsletters to all of our members. If you would like to receive newsletters from the Slice of Life Club, post here.
Our newsletters include notifications on when our competition rounds start, club event information, information on our monthly banner contest (new feature starting in September), news about updates and changes to the club, etc.
P.S.S We are in need of active card makers!
We do a few monthly editions and we really need some more card makers to help out with those. If you are interested in applying, click here.
