Hello! Thanks for accepting the friend request! Nice to meet you too!

Yeah, she was definitely an amazing and well-written character. The feels on the Anime was surreal though. ShigaUso was one of the heartwarming Anime out there.

I see you like Steins Gate too, great taste... Did you watch Steins Gate 0?

Since you havent watched it yet, you should give Psycho Pass a watch, it will probably fit your taste.

No but I have friends who are in film courses currently and help out with some of their projects. I'm stuck in Accounting cause apparently i've taken too much credits to switch (which still makes no sense). So for now i'm planning small projects in my spare time while finishing up my bachelor's for accounting. The animation bit is something i'm starting after Finals since i'm going into it relatively blind. Most with an interest would've started years ago, but the most i've done in that area back then was Photoshop masking.

If i'm being honest, it was a lack of motivation and stress from college life. Following seasonal anime on a blog with most its members gone felt like a hassle after a while. It's a shame cause I have fond memories of it back in High School. I'm still planning to someday either make a more free-form blog for more personal posts or making use of my Youtube channel again. I'm even dabbling in writing and possibly animating this year (stick figures and such, cause I ain't the best character designer). For now though I decided to broaden my horizons since I mainly dedicated myself to film and anime. Heck if we're talking about romance stories, Starco is a ship i'm utterly obsessed with at the moment (seriously I dream of it becoming fully established every night).

As for Howl, it basically boils down to "the movie feels unfocused". Much like the castle itself, the actual story of that movie felt like it was crumbling from all the subplots it wanted to put. The central plot should be about the relationship between Sophie and Howl, but everything revolving around Magic, the War, and some the side characters felt like they belonged in different movies.

Lol sorry to disappoint but I don't really have any reviews posted on MAL. I do have short tags and did some blogging in the past. Mostly when it comes to detailed stuff I tend to just talk about it with my friends.

Haha funny enough that's actually one of my most despised, even though I certainly see the base appeal. Personally I think Ghibli has done much better with Whisper of the Heart (#4 in my top 5, including Castle in the Sky, Princess Mononoke, Kiki, and Porco Rosso).

Even if I wouldn't categorize them as Romance stories, Mamoru Hosoda's films have a strong grasp of chemistry. The Girl Who Leapt through Time is my fav, but Summer Wars and Wolf Children are both excellent.

Yeah, Makoto Shinkai's brand of "romance" isn't particularly chemistry-based or long-term. They're very much based around momentary chances that were either missed or disappeared. If you want something that's more satisfying on a long-term basis, there's plenty more to choose from.

It's what happens when you've got a lot of free time and an early entry. You'll get there eventually. :3

Lol first saw you off your Garden of Words review. Ended up looking thru your other stuff afterwards.
It’s time to ditch the text file.
