So, after several months of resistance, I finally decided to create a MAL account. And henceforth spent an entire evening transcribing all (or most) of what I have been saving in an Excel spreadsheet dating back (according to the document properties) to August 14, 2007.

I've been an anime fan since late 2001/early 2002 with the introduction of Cartoon Network's Adult Swim anime block. Since then, I've watched series I've picked up from either Adult Swim, SyFy's AniMonday programming block, or those that were interesting or higher rated according to the T.H.E.M. Anime Reviews website. More recently, since March 2009, I've started including series that have been represented in the main tournament for the International Saimoe League (ISML).

My other non-anime interests include Star Wars, Guild Wars, StepMania, Touhou, and e-media editing (using GIMP, Audacity, Avidemux).
