Score translation:
Series you should watch:
10: An all-around perfect show I can enjoy every aspect of. Something I can watch over and over again without getting tired of it.
9: A show that is only lacking a few minor things to be perfect. Shows I would certainly recommend and could re-watch if I had the time.
Series you should watch if you like the genre and/or have enough time on your hands:
8: A show that does most things right, but is held back either by a bigger flaw or a lot of small off-putting aspects. Definitely worth watching once, re-watchable if I felt like it.
7: Either an "objectively" good show that I couldn't really get into or an "objectively" mediocre show I enjoyed - worth watching if you've got the time. Not something I'd need to revisit anytime soon, but something I would watch the sequels of.
Series you should only watch if you're into the genre and/or bored enough:
6: A show that isn't bad, but lacks something to make it worth watching over other shows in the genre. Look into it if you have the time, but there's probably better stuff out there.
5: A show that is mediocre in every way; or a show that is terrible at most times, but outstanding at others. If you have a lot of time to spend and like the genre, you might want to consider those. In hindsight these weren't really worth my time.
Series that you shouldn't watch unless someone/something is forcing you to:
4: A show that is mostly terrible, but has some redeeming qualities. You're probably wasting your time.
3: Something I just want to forget about. Don't bother.
Series that are so terrible you can watch them for laughs if you're drunk and have good company:
2: Don't. Touch. This.
1: As bad as 2, but somehow managed to provoke my ire in a particularly egregious way.
A Short Disclaimer: A score can only tell you so much about a show. It depends highly on when I watched the show as my taste has shifted quite a lot over the years. It also depends on how I watch a show, and whether I'm in the right mood for a show when watching it.
A better indicator for my personal favorites is to check how often I watched a film or series (I record this on the right). A high number there can be considered a personal recommendation from me.

L recently won our Best Mentally Strong Competition btw. So you'd be happy about that =p.
I don't really remember much. But eventually, their problems will become clear and it shows how harsh reality could be. I guess it's something that most Asians can relate to.. The review that was found most helpful in Clannad After Story might give you some interest.
But there isn't a thing called objectively good shows. The mere fact that you couldn't get into the so called objective shows proves that there isn't objectivity in anime, nor in movies.
I tend to like to start a conversation with everyone I invite instead of just giving you a random invite.
*If the invite doesn't go through just message me about it*
I feel our rating systems are pretty similar just I have mine condensed down to one word for convenience.
The first part of your review absolutely applies to Re:Zero as well. "that kid just learned the black keys exist woah"
Alright, fair enough. Re:Zero isn't that far from it though, just found that part kinda funny/weird.
