Heard lots of good things about the first manga arc, but not so much praise regarding the next arcs. Am pretty bad when it comes to starting new ongoing series to read, so will probably check it out when it ends. Made in Abyss perhaps the only cute but edgy series which has had stronger second half than first half, at least with season 1.
I wonder would the underground stuff most users haven't even heard about also have similar mean scores here as Yakusoku no Neverland has if they were watched by the same people to the same extent. I think it's not too far from truth and that's one reason why I am not really influenced by ratings.
I gave it a 4/10 because waste of potential is one of the biggest things that frustrate me in this industry. It's already bad that unique series are scarce and when they drop out, they disappoint like this.
Thank you for your feedback. You are free to disagree with me. I have just read your review, and I think your reasons for liking the show are honest and make sense. I can respect that. Have my helpful vote.
In case you wanted recommendations, Love Live franchise shares quite a bit of similarities with Sorayori. For more mature take on similar subject, I'd recommend Uchuu Kyoudai. It is about brothers who want to be astronauts.
