Yes, real life is not fun sometimes, but that's why I love my anime life lol.
And that's great you finished Madoka! I was a little skeptical at first, cause it looked really cutesy and stuff, but it was actually very deep and a tad dark, so I liked it a lot!
I do read a few manga's, and if those one's are anything like Kuro, they must be pretty cool ;) Maybe if I ever get the time, I will check them out sometime :)
As for Kanda, yes he is gorgeous! I wish he was real as well, except he probably wouldn't talk to either of us >.< lol Along with all my other anime crushes, but unfortunatley they are not :( Oh well, at least they're fun to look at ;)
So do you have any Spring/Summer animes you're looking forward too? I'm really excited for Kuroko no Basket Season2, but I don't think it will be coming out till Fall :( In the mean time I'm trying to find a new anime to distract me from the long wait, do you have any suggestions?
Hi! Sorry for the long hiatus, but I was busy moving this past month and I wanted to take the time to respond properly ^^
But yes cosplay is very fun, and people at conventions are very accepting, even the ones who don't dress up. And as for the contest prize, I believe it's just a trophy and a certificate, but they'd still be cool to have ya know XD And there are SO MANY awesome characters to be, but if you have difficulty choosing you could always pick one out of a hat or something just to ease some stress lol. And some people just have fun with it and they pick who they want to be because they like that character, not because they exactly look like them, so you can be whoever you want :) If you ever get to cosplay I want to hear all about it!
And yes I'm also into the more in depth animes, although I do enjoy the light and fun ones once in a while, but other than that I usually the more adult ones as well. Kuro was actually what got me into anime so I can totally relate to how you feel lol. It's led me to so many other wonderful ones and I tend to get attached to certain ones. Which one are you currently really into?
It's funny you suggest watching Friends cause someone who is from Japan had said that's how they learned English too! I think that's kinda cute and random to think Friends has such a following in other countries. I would have never guessed! As for your tv suggestion, I do watch some Spanish television and I listen to Spanish music. but if I include the Spanish subtitles then I have no idea what's going on, considering I still don't know the language lol. But one of my new roommates is from the Dominican Republic and she said she learned English from listening to English music, and she said she would help me out a bit, so at least I'm on the right start :D
Haha yes Alois would have been very pretty indeed! And it is a shame he was not in the OVA :( His outfit was exactly like Ciel's except it was pink, so it was a lot of fun to wear! But I buy all my cosplays, because it is usually cheaper than getting all of the materials to make it, plus I don't know how to sew, although I am currently making my first cosplay that I want to enter in the cosplay contest at a con I'm going to this summer. It's Kyouko Sakura from Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica, and my neighbor lady is teaching me how to sew. It is much more difficult than I had anticipated and I give other cosplayer so much credit for all the beautiful works they create. Have you started watching that by the way?
Aw that stinks that there aren't a lot of cool cosplayers in your area, it's so much fun to do! Maybe you could go to a con in France sometime and cosplay there. And it's ok, I don't think you talk about France a lot lol. I think it's cool that you've actually been there and that you enjoy it so much! I love to hear interesting things about other places, so don't worry :) Oh and I believe I've watched a YouTube video about Kuro cosplayers in France, cause like you said, I think they ahve some major cons over there, and yes they were all so beautiful! It makes me wonder if a lot of people over there make their own cosplays instead of ordering them from China, since they were of a higher quality and standard.
And yes by subway I do mean metro I guess lol. I don't often take public transportation, I just use my car ;p
Well even though I'm not good with technology of the sort, I would never be opposed to learning :D And even though I took 3 years of Spanish in school, I don't believe I'll be learning another language any time soon. I feel as if I'm too old (21) to learn a new language, and even back in school, the information never stuck with me. I am of Hispanic disent and my grandparents spoke the language, but never taught us :( My sister tried those Rossetta Stone programs and said they worked very well, but they are really expensive so she didn't get the next set of lesson. Who knows maybe someday 'll try again...
What are all the languages you speak?
Oh a Visa? Couldn't you always use a passport too, or is it different depending on the country?
And I love road trips! I would rather take a road trip than a plane ride any day lol. Plus I think road trips are more fun cause you're not as restricted and stuff, and you can enjoy other stops and scenery along the way. I haven't heard about the French train system, but I think trains are a nice way of traveling. We don't use them too often here in America (for heavy traveling), although we do have subways and stuff, which I guess is a type of train, but they're different so I'm not really sure. They're faster than cars, and less scary than planes, so they're good with me xP
That's cool you're part of a fansub group! I don't know any other languages and I'm not very good with technology and stuff, so I could never do something like that. And to be honest I would never have thought there'd be that many anime fans in France. Not that I didn't think there wouldn't be any fans, but for them to appear as the biggest anime country in Europe to me is kind of random. But as you know I haven't been there, so I can't say. I just always thought it'd be like Britain or something...?
I just started going to cons and cosplaying this year so it's still all kind of new to me. I only have three cosplays so far, two of them being Alois with one being his regualr outift and the other being his version of Wonderland ;) But I already have a ton more planned for this summer and I'm excited to see how they all turn out :D
That's so funny cause I was just thinking about that earlier today! I think it's cool how everyone in Europe can visit other actual countires by just boarding a plane, but here in America it is different. I know it takes about 3 hours for me to leave my state of PA and go to FL (where I used to live). To be honest I'm not very fond of flying so it sucks that every place I want to go to is a long flight away. I would also love to go to Japan! Actually me and a few friends are planning a trip for Fall 2014, and I'm already nervous about the nonstop 14 hour flight lol. But I don't want to let my irrational fear hold me back from living my life so I'm gonna try. And maybe I will even make it to BP one day and explore all there is to see there :)
Have you ever been to America? And if so, did you like it?
And is anime and things of that culture big where you live in BP?
I actually thought it was really good! Despite how it may appear, it's not all sunshine and rainbows. Things get pretty dark, but there's a good twist to it. I'm probably not much help, but if you want to know more you could probably read some reviews, or just watch the first two episodes and see how you feel about it from there (that's what I do sometimes).
Some people don't like to give it the credit it deserves, but I mean you are always going to find people out there who like to hate/complain.
To each their own I guess :)
So you're from Budapest? That's pretty cool. I'm from America and I've never left the country so I always find other places fascinating!
