It isn't. Same tropes, it just points them out and says isn't this trope so cliche? No criticism or commentary on the genre conventions. It indulges in cliches every time it acknowledges them. That becomes its 'free pass' to use them for the rest of the show.

I don't think Dororo is bad but the nails in Karhu's review make sense. The fighting choreography is mundane. The hybrid episodic nature feels mundane. The demons feel generic. It has a nice concept and is dark for the sake of being edgy. I like it, I enjoy watching it but it really is just all fat wanting to see a final confrontation and resolution.

If you had actually bothered to read more than the first sentence of the review before writing a comment on it, you would know how laughable it is for me to see someone call Bunny Girl self-aware; there is an overwhelming amount of evidence to show just how much of an idiot the author is.

i thought the ending to the original steins gate was lame and stupid but this was supposed to be a steins gate with another ending so i decided to give it a shot but it turned out they where just milking the series

Hey, first of all, thanks for accepting my friend's request, I like your list and name. I always enjoy adding people who watched different shows to me, but also have some in common (like Haruhi Suzumiya, OPM, and Monogatari), makes fun conversations. I looked at isaychris' friends list and you were the most recent one online at the time.
