ill admit that the first few episodes were done wrong they actually flashbacks in the lns so they screwed up the order and it makes the story seem rushed. i wont say anymore but if you have the time id suggest reading the novels its a good read and they are not too big to take up too much time i read the first two arcs overnight

On one occasion, the anime even blatantly contradicts itself, feeding us the ridiculous idea that pure willpower and love can counter the rules of said world. Come on, give us a break. That's just a blatant deus ex machina!

You must be new here? Just saw your review of SAO, and I think it really explained well why the anime didn't desrve to get a higher rating. What do you think the anime should have done in order for it be better or closer to the manga? Anyway, I wouldn't give it a 6, cut it some slack... there's still 1 more episode left. I'm sure it'll be Kirito making his own mmorpg with the crystal that he received from the maker of SAO. Hope to see a better sequel though, but honestly I enjoyed watching the series and it wasn't that bad, I would at least give it a 7.
