I finally caught the first two epis of BL too! I really like it so far. Psychological anime is the best. <3 And yeah I know how u feel about having to wait a week but..until something gets really exciting, I usually do okay XDDD. The last anime I really suffered from having to a wait a week for was Tokyo Magnitude.

Muuuur 2010? D: Guess we'll have to wait some more! Btw have u heard of Durarara? That looks very promising for 2010! o.o Good start for the next anime year~

Omg I always read the Buried Treasure articles! XD From those I'm interested in Twilight Q and I think Human Crossing might have been in one of them. I also wanna watch Phoenix!

Yesh u should totally watch Versailles and Galactic Heroes..those are amazing.. As for Glass Mask, I'm only planning to watch the 2005 version, which I have most of the episodes of. But like the last 10 or so episodes aren't really around in eng sub... @_@ Maybe by the time I catch up they will be lol.

Have u heard of Ashita no Nadja? That's another really good one. That is also needing some subs for the last few episodes, arg. OOO and also Kaze to Ki no Uta SANCTUS -Sei naru kana- I saw that recently..some classic yaoi right there. It's the only one of that genre I rated as high, along with Fuyu no Semi.

Eeeek I also gotta watch Cowboy Bebop.. Yeah pretty much everyone loves it here. xD I saw like the ending of the show...and I know the spoilers.. So I haven't been motivated to watch it from the beginning. At least I saw the movie lol. xD

What a coincidence, I'm going to watch Evangelion soon too. I saw the original and have it on DVD, but I'm going to watch Evan Rebuild to see what they've improved upon it. xD Other classics I need to see are Trigun, Lupin, and Hajime no Ippo. .....probably Macross/Robotech stuff too. xD So muchhhh.
Mimi_Taylor Oct 19, 2009 9:09 PM
Yeah ditto. XD Besides..who knows when Kingdoms will be subbed.

And what classics are you referring to? For me I need to continue Utena, lol.

Your Fall line-up is purty much the same as mine~! XD Blue Lit and Trapeze are two that I'm going to start on first. I still have to finish DtB season 1, but I plan to catch up quickly so I can watch season 2 while it's airing. As for Kimi ni Todoke, it seems kinda medicore so I'll pass. Oh yeah, and I'm also going to check out Letter Bee...for some reason. XD

I'm kinda confused about what's going on with The Three Kingdoms. Status says it finished airing, so I followed where everyone was pointing to, a Chinese streaming site. And I watched most of episode 1 lol. It's different.. Their body movements and even their mouths moving when they speak are like..really detailed..in an awkward kinda way lol. XD But it looks really interesting.

*glomps* Hey wussaaaap! :3 Yay for Blue Literature finally getting subbed. I can't wait to watch it~

I couldn't agree with you more on T.M. 8.0. It's very believable indeed, and I didn't expect it to be 100% realistic anyway. It's fiction after all. But it's more realistic than other slice-of-life anime I've seen that try to mirror reality in some way. (especially episode 1) I'm really going to miss Yuuki too. XD

You know, I showed my mom Grave of Fireflies as well. But I was the only one in the room crying my eyes out lol. My mom always puts up her emotional guard, even with T.M. She just sits back and says it was sad and interesting. XD

Blue Literature caught my interest recently as well. I don't see much info on it anywhere but...10th of October'll be here pretty soon anyway. XD I can't wait for a trailer.

No release date yet for Kusabi yet? *pouts!!*

thanks for joining noble heroines.

I see you also joined Hidden Gems, I'm most likely to be on there or on noble heroines. :)

Wow T.M. last episode made me cry my eyes out...

Wooow... I just wrote a huge reply to you, and I accidentally pressed the "back" button on this web browser, thus losing it all. -retypes-

I'm really glad to hear that from you about T.M. 8.0. I agree with "I kind of feel that the more realistic - scratch that - the more believable shows are the ones that affect my mind and bias it the greatest." I particularly picked this anime to show my mother, who associates anime with fantasy kid stuff. This series impressed her, and we've been watching it together since the episode when
And yeah, I was shocked when the series had the guts to do that.

There were particularly three episodes that hit me emotionally.

Yeah, a couple episodes in the middle didn't stand out as much as the others. I assume that you're referring to
A few people were not as entertained by those, but there seems to be a growing divide among people's enjoyment regarding

The last episode should be available this Thursday or Friday, so I can't wait. It's sad though--the anime I enjoyed most this season is ending. T_T Ugh.

I dropped 07 Ghost way early in the game, lol. I'm keeping up with Canaan cuz it's short. As for FMA, I wanted to keep up with it, but my interest kinda dwindled early on. Oh, thanks for mentioning Nodame! I didn't pick that series up at the right time, but now that I remember it, I'll add it back to my Plan To Watch. :3

I don't remember if I mentioned to you what I'm looking forward to for next season. But I could only think of three anime: Winter Sonata, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, and Kuuchuu Buranko. I hope those three do well cuz I won't have much else to turn to. xD
Mimi_Taylor Sep 13, 2009 12:51 PM
O hai there! ^^ I use tons of emoticons too. =D

I've also liked a few titles from the genres I dislike. But that's like, VERY few. XD Generally speaking, I don't go out and try to find anything under those genres.

I watched an episode of Cross Game, and the first episode was quite depressing (or was it the 2nd?) I loved it. xD But I decided to really start it later on. I'm not a big Sports anime fan but..that looked rather interesting. And I dunno why, but I've been trying Prince of Tennis off and on. XD

Hehe I've been busy being lazy like all day today. *___* (has homework) Oh nu.....

How do u like Tokyo Magnitude so far? It's my fav anime this season.
Mimi_Taylor Aug 25, 2009 8:18 AM
-randomly pops by- Wow we have a really good anime compatibility. o.o!! That's rare for me to find lol. Awesome top 3 btw. ^_^
