Sorry but I'm just amazed that you watched an anime named B: The Beginning but missed so many things and rated 1/10 even when it had nice art and so on what you mentioned. So the rating wouldn't be 1/10. (Rating kind of unfairly but I guess that's not the point).
I will write things what you missed and what were false. So you can open your mind for the next thing what you watch and pay more attention hopefully.
1.Story:Garbage because you didn't get it. If you watch last episode again. Last few 10 minutes. The main character Keith talks with Lily what happened. Why.
+ The talk at the end with the Gilbert. It literally says there. In anime.
2.You didn't like Lily. Well if you check the story again. The RIS leader named Eric even says he hired Lily because not because she is good dectective. Everybody else were opposed of Lily. But Eric hired Lily because she goes out of the way and breaks the normal thing. Obeying. He even says. I hired Lily because I saw Keith in her. She thinks and sees in some way similary things. I mean are you even listening to the story? 2nd time you missed important text. 3. 3rd one incoming. :D Lily is the reason they find Keith when he is wanted. They on purpose fire Lily if you are unable to read again and Eric even says to Boris. It's fine that I suspended Lily because she will keep going. That's why I basically hired her. She doesn't obey. (And again. It seems you are illiterate so I repeat. She isn't great dectective. But she is great in right hands if the hand knows what it has). Eric played Lily super well.
And in the review you seem quite emotional. Raiting 1 on characters because of Lily basically. Saying characters were okay. 1/10 = okay? :D 4. Characters improve. Keith finally kills a person. He knew entire time who was the culprite. But like the story says probably you didn't read. Keith was super good dectective but he was super bad at reacting to the action. So he knew enitre time who was the Boss of things but did nothing about it. But in the end he did. Keith and Eric finally team up. When previously they didn't. Improvement again. Kokuu improves. He finally started fighting pack properly. Before he only ran or took "orders" from others. He took "fate" into his hands finally. But I don't know. I'm just amazed what review you wrote. You watch stuff your eyes closed?
If you didn't like B: The Beginning you probably don't like Movie named Se7en. Similar story. Probably too complicated even when it is shown to you or written on screen what happened. :D Sorry for hits. B: The Beginning was 8/10 for me. Just FYI.
Hopefully you watch next anime/series/movie or whatever with closer eye. And hopefully I opened your eye little by proving you simply wrong. Don't believe me go watch again.
Have a nice day and wonderful day. : ^)

Glad to hear that you're going to rewatch InuYasha! I really enjoyed it and hope you're going to like it aswell. And good news for you I got some more! :) If you want to stick to the samurai/romance/travel anime I can recommend you a new gen anime called Dororo you can't really compare it to InuYasha or Samurai Champloo but in my opinion it was really nice to watch and some scenes were giving me goosebumps. Also I found a "samurai" anime called Katanagatarî, why "samurai"? Read my Comment on my "On Hold" list. And yess I haven't finished it because one episode lasts 50 minutes and I had a lot other stuff to watch. But I'm going to soon and you should too! And last but not least I have something different. Don't judge it by it's cover! I did't wanted to watch it at first but as soon as I started I've already finished it (1 day). I'm talking about Made in Abyss. Just watch the first 3 or 4 episodes and maybe you also going to like it! The sequel is also going to air at the start of next year so if you like it here are already some good news!
Sorry for the spam thoo :p
*didnt' saw that @sunbro26 also recommended katanagatari but you see? It's good :D

Do try this anime called Katanagatari. Its a tale of two peeps teaming up to scour Japan on a hunt for twelve legendary, and also dangerous katanas. Just bear in mind that it takes a good amount of time setting up the villains in each of its 50 minute long episodes, and also has an amazing overarching narrative and more depth than one would expect from it.

You liked anime abut travelling or journeys. Another couple of shows I thought you may like, directly about journeys, is The Magnificent Kotobuki & Last Exile, I haven't seen either of them yet, but they're both on my list because they are about travelling.

Hey, looking at our affinity list I'm surprised you haven't seen Sora yori mo Tooi Basho yet! It's about a group of girls that travel to Antarctica :D

"My favorite anime are ones about journey or travel" based on this and your "old" favorite Anime, I can really recommend you InuYasha or Samurai Champloo. It's a long journey and I guess it should fit into the style of your faves. But I know these aren't typical traveling Anime.

I'd recommend this show. Not for everyone but it only has 12 episodes, and it's an original by studio Madhouse with a fully wrapped up story, means no need for season 2. So, no hurt checking it out!

A couple of shows you might like; Seven Deadly Sins - it's fantasy (medieval Europe with magic) and the team are always on journey in their never quests.
Another one you may like is Outbreak Company - it's an isekai where they introduce anime & manga to this other world, in an effort to create & nurture mutually beneficial diplomatic relationships between the worlds.

I was looking at your profile and thought you may like these shows, so thought I'd drop you a note ^_^
