I understood what Anita was doing. It wasn't giving us morals, but searching for meanings in media like any other good critic. Video games need these critics to help us rethink the medium and see what else can be done with it. Criticism isn't just consumer's advice, but finding meaning.

I think Mythos' character was delibarate. What you described is a Damsel in Distress. The Damsel is a plot device, someone to rescue/desire/protect who has no agency of her own. Only this time they flipped the genders.

I don't mind an Everyman protagonist, but if I remember correctly Will was too skilled and talented to be an Everyman. Writers who write about Everymen tend to emphasize their lack of unique features, and don't give them special talents.

I think I should get Vita for the VN's. VN's seem to be more fun to read on a small screen anyway, like a book.
