I totally get what you mean with Shizuku hahaha and yes Komachi is the perfect little sis and there's no incest in the story, so they are really just good siblings, and I love that.
hahaha well I think that episode was as dumb as the TRPG as it actually didn't add anything to the story, only more fanservice to the fans. I think this series found a niche as Itsuki had one too hahaha.
about the forth wall I get that, but it's more like when they named characters from actual series ... the problem with the series is that it didn't know if what's going to be a ecchi comedy, a serious series, a slice of life or some propaganda to tabletop games and beers (Because every single beverage was explained and recommended)
I get what you mean with Juuni Taisen, in my case I had to be in a traffic jam to make a mini marathon of the series, so I watched 4 in a row and I got hooked. Still I knew how the series was going to be and spoiled myself the end of the novel - it's a single novel adapted in an entire series Dx - still waiting to watch the last two episodes that are probably gonna make me mad.
well, in my case one of my favorite series is Bakuman, so knowing a little about the industry is always interesting (for example, never knew how the table of contents of WSJ and the ranking are related), knowing how the series is and understanding how Oda takes a break once a few weaks 'cause he destroyed in the past by working too hard, it feels super realistic ... well, the series went superficial making beach episodes outta nowhere, so I get that, having constantly reunion to drink and play isn't something people don't want to see all the time (again with my point before about the series don't being serious about it's main plot)
I though RE:creators was Exposition: The Animation, so after watching Gigguk new video and what you say about the series I probably gonna add to my list to watch in January-February.
about the imoutos I liked Shizuku in rakudai (the manga version), because she realized she can't be the main girl of his bro and still loves, respect and most of all didn't try to destroy their relationship. Komachi is the best imouto (I could go on and on, because I really liked Oregairu)
now I understand your reasoning, although yes, the MC is a pussy (but it's more regards him liking Nayu since the start but rejecting her because his inferiority complex seeing her talent as a writer), the manga part I could understand because his main fetish is little sister, not having them naked (that's the second I think hahaha) and the mangaka using underwear made the appeal of the heroine bigger so I kind of accept why he accept her vision. My problem that chapter was that they went too far with the fanservice in the second part.
I liked the first meta part that his favorite book had that name (although I was expecting that he was going to make that book in the of the series), the second part yeah, you're totally right there, but I liked the flashback, but not much of a fan that the series ended with another side B "let's play a tabletop game", they even had only Kanikou in the opening of the episode and nothing happened between them in the end!!.
ps. sorry that I read you comment in Ariffdesu profile, because he wrote something in mine today, two thing to say about that:
1) I liked Juuni Taisen because it was just a straight action series and it feels the NisiOisiN style in the story, though being super predictable was a big problem (from episode one the winner was super clear who was gonna be and in the case of the series it mess with the journey)
2) the victim of the bad adaptation are both, the novelist as he got a really bad anime of his work and that obviously hurts and us, because we watched that shiet. And I liked the approach at the novel industry, though having the guy travel in airplane twice in a week felt super unbelievable.
but go watch Dies Irae and say back to me and compare to imouto sae.
that show was the real shit of the season imo.
also as a fellow engineer, what are you majoring??
