Thank you very much. It also happens to me that every now and then I decide to rewatch things just to see my reaction and thoughts about it now that my taste is different. I'd recommend you to watch Berserk (only the 90s version) and Cowboy Bebop.
Thank you for taking the time to read my review and for your feedback. I will try to point out more positive aspects of shows in the future. It was not my intention to come off as whiney or bitter, unfulfilled would be a better term in my opinion. Also, if I thought the show was bad, it would make sense for the review to be for the most part negative. I gave the show 4/10 which is bad, that's what this site says. I believe I was fair in my review because I brought up actual problems I had with the show.
In my defense, I said that the show has a strong beginning that will hook viewers and that the art and sound were good as well.
Let me go into further detail on Yuuri. My problem with Yuuri is actually the same as my problem with the side characters, she doesn't have any impact on the story. I only wrote about her separate from the other side characters is because the writers could have easily and naturally made her have some effect on the story. The easiest, most obvious, and natural way to do that given the situation the characters are in (the love triangle) would be to actually give her a chance with Kou and to cause some kind of conflict between the main characters. The root of my problem with her is that she had no purpose in the story and, I thought that would have been an easy way to solve my problem with how the writers used/didn't use her character.
Again, thank you for your criticism and, I really will try to be more positive in my reviews in the future.
Yesterday I finished White Album 2 and I totally agree with your post regarding polyamory. That would have been a way better ending than the actual ending.
