Haha. I see you and I have lenient rating tendencies. Although, I don't mind giving an anime 3 or 4 if it has rampant sexism, useless female MCs or unnecessary sexualization of women.

Sorry Clannad didn't work for you! Everybody likes different things.

So, Clannad is probably my hands down most recommended anime, so obviously that. I have a review about it to discuss why I love it so much. Code Geass is one of the more popular shows on MAL, and while it's not perfect, it is certainly above average. Next I would say Cowboy Bebop and Trigun since they're just overall very good. And to a lesser extent, Full Metal Panic and Baccano. They're pretty good for just having a fun evening.

Some shows you have that are either dropped or on hold on your list that I've seen are Angel Beats, Death Note and One Punch Man. They're all good (Well, Angel Beats is ok I guess), but they are unlikely to help you expand your horizons. They're more so shows you'd just watch cuz they're popular.

Hey, I noticed you dropped/put on hold a lot of shows after only seeing one or two episodes. I think you should come back to a lot of them. It could be good for expanding your tastes.
