Just try not to read the spoilers and watch them carefully, these shows have a couple of intrigues and a lot depends on your involvement in the plot and care for the characters.

A lot of this is just 1-2 new episodes released the other day. The second season of Attack on Titan I've watched is just the first show I've finished in the last couple of months lol.

If you're asking for advice on shows from the 00s and love AIR...how about Footprints in the Sand and Sola? Both shows are vn-like dramatic romance.

I like how your thoughts work :D. Well, anyway, at the moment I'm planning on catching up on my favorite franchises in addition to watching seasonal shows.

I feel the same way. People tell me Air's original VN is better and not as rushed though, so maybe I will watch a YouTube upload of it someday.
I really wish there were more anime like these Key anime again. The industry doesn't seem to want to make any more like it; I am admittedly tired of seeing isekai plaguing the seasonal charts these days, but if just one isekai was actually more like these tearjerkers then maybe I would be less fatigued. I really do love sad anime even if I don't cry from them.

I'm surprised you've actually heard of Twin Spica. The original manga is seriously one of my favorite manga of all time. It's not made by KEY yet it feels a lot like one of their works, and really scratches that KEY itch while giving us a new perspective with things like space/sci-fi.

No problem! You ought to watch it, it made me see Yu-Gi-Oh in a new light and I'm glad I checked it out it's pretty easy to find on youtube too
Sucks that I can't find the original manga anywhere though, not even in my local public libraries or bookstores.

Thank you! That's really nice of you to say. I honestly added you too because I think the same! You seem to have the heart for older shows, and anime enthusiasts like that really intrigue me. I find them interesting because I, too, have the same interest for anime. I can see you like Ouran High School Host Club, and GetBackers, which I personally think are really great shows. GetBackers is something I can connect to my childhood and I remember enjoying it as a kid. Not to mention, you have a Watanuki profile picture. I believe you like CLAMP along with liking the character. It's a pleasure that my profile led you into finding shows that awaken your interest for them. I do hope that whatever shows they are, you'll be able to enjoy them as much how I did.

To answer the question, Souryuuden is one of those rare OVA I didn't thought I'd like. I really love the show and I wish it was longer. I am fond of dragons and mythical creatures hence I picked it up, because it has involvement with dragons. Spoiler up ahead. Souryuuden's animation really speaks of the era it is from, since it is from 1991. Unpolished and not yet advanced in any angle, but personally I find it as one of its biggest charms. The story may start of a little boring, but when it progressed I kind of got hooked in to it.

I personally like how the show, just with 6 episodes, actually touched some controversial matters while masking it with fantasy. All the political undertones, human experimentation, oppression, and other use of unjust power were actually used against the main characters. But, I will leave it all to you already, if you'll ever like it. I do have a little fun fact I want to share with you though, which you might actually find interesting. Souryuuden is actually a work of a known manga artist back in the days, and CLAMP, creator of XXXHolic and many other shows, actually remade the manga and redesigned the characters. They're gorgeous!
