Oh no, not to brag. I was asking my sister for a DS only because I wanted to play The World Ends With You because it was very fun =/. I didn't want to make it seem she wasted her money, so I got 2 other games besides TWEWY (Luminous Arc 2 [bad SRPG =/] and Disgaea DS =/].

TWEWY made me want a DS, so it is very good. I shouldn't have tricked myself into a DS though - I've been promised an Xbox 360 in March in time for Star Ocean 4, but - that too seems like a waste for one game (really two, I want to play Tales of Vesperia XD).

SRPGs do take a lot of time, but Disgaea DS seems to take an extreme amount of time because of how slow it runs on the DS. I am not sure if the PS2 version was like that, but if I compare it with the 3 on PS3; it is severely noticeable. Everything just feels choppy =/ I'm sure I could play through Disgaea on the DS sometime, but not right now =(.

The game feels like it is in slow motion; even if you speed up effects =/

Also, I only just got my DS, so I am still not used to portables =/ Since I never liked them before ; ; Little screen bothers me too, as I have bad eyes, but I played The World Ends With You - and fell in love enough to put up with it. Disgaea DS was just so I could say I have more games for it (so it wouldn't be a waste), but yeah ; ;

I saw your comment about Disgaea DS. Hopefully you'll like it; being your first@@;

I normally like all SRPG's but I couldn't play Disgaea DS - I plan to beat it last out of the mountain of games I have to play now, but I think it was because I already gotten used to Disgaea 3 =/

I'm sure for your first in the series though~ you'll love it!
