Hum, how should I put this I am probably one of the biggest computer nerds in all of Florida. Yea... that sounds about right. I own 12 or so computers... I think... I'll have to check...
My Computers and some quick specs
1. Emachine (Desktop), AMD Athlon 64, 3.12 GB RAM, 2.20 Ghz, 3.21 TB (3321 GB) of memory, Windows 7 (64 bit)/ XP (32 bit)
Interesting note: It has a working 5 1/4 Inch Floppy drive and I use this for video editing
2. HP (Desktop), Pentium III, 900 Mhz (waiting for it to boot...) 384 MB RAM
Interesting Note: It has MIDI In/out, RCA in/out 1/2" + 1/4" Mic/line in, SPDF in/out, fiber optic in/out, 5.1 Surround sound (half disconnected over time). It is also my dad's so it takes literary a half an hour to boot. It was originaly meant to replace my first computer and later to record and edit audio from the middle school orchestra I belonged to.
3. Hp (Desktop), Athlon XP, 1 GB RAM. 217 GB of memory
Interesting Note: This used to be my computer I used for video editing, also I used to run a ftp server from this computer so I could allow all of my classmates to save their stuff from class and allow me to access my files from home. After repeated crashes due to the processor, graphics card or Power supply most of the time it sits idle unless i want to play an old game that doesn't like vista or my other graphics cards.
4. (Generic) (Shoe box), Pentium I, 256 RAM Windows 95 (plus for kids)
Interesting notes: You are probably wondering; WTF does a shoe box mean?!? Well a long time ago (1993/4) this was first computer. When I got my new computer (2000) my dad wanted to throw away my first one; however I didn't like that idea, so when my dad went to work I took it apart and hid all the parts though out the house.
Later, when I was in high school all of the the school computers soon had a computer program called deep freeze that wiped all of your files and work you did after it was restarted and Flash drives were out of my reach and price range ($20 max and no car), so I investigated ftp servers and discovered that all of my new computers did not have the capability to run an ftp server except my very first computer. Using screws, metal strips, and parts like fans from an old Laser Writer II (Huge printer from the 80's), I was able to build a "open enclosure" for my computer. After a few weeks under my dad's desk he made a deal with me that he would buy Windows XP Pro (which had an FTP Server) if I would take my old computer apart which I agreed.
After taking my computer apart again when I was gathering up the pieces I happened to notice that they all the pieces I needed to run my computer fit snuggly in a shoe box (except the CD and Floppy Drive etc.). After screwing the hard drive to the side of the shoe box and cutting the metal backing of the mother board to size; I had a computer in a shoe box.
5. Dell (Laptop) Windows XP Media Edition + Mac OSX86 + Ubuntu I'm getting lazy now so I'll finish this later
Interesting note: On this computer I use Ubuntu the most, also the speakers used to be GODLY, but the headphone jack got messed up and now my speakers do not work. This laptop also has a 17" screen I use to read manga and previously video editing (before my speakers stopped working).
6. (Another) Dell (Laptop) 3 Gb of RAM, Vista, I'm getting lazy now so I'll finish this later
Interesting note: I use this computer for my school work, tinkering, and reading online manga which is almost exclusively hentai. NOTE: The keyword is READ and not masturbate though I'll admit I did it a few times.
7. PC Jr. (Desktop) 128 MB of RAM 5 1/4 inch Floppy drive (no hard drive) made in 1983-ish, Runs IBM PC DOS 2.10 with disk
Interesting notes: I got this from a friend who was planing to give this to a museum. It has tons of "surprising fun" games like hopper (frogger) falling babys (you have to save the babies falling from a burning building), and a few old text based games called ZORK that is still around today - http://legendsofzork.com
8. (Generic) (desktop)
Interesting notes: I was given this from high school from begging when the school was getting rid of all their old computers. It runs windows 95 and came with "Sonic and Knuckles" in it's CD drive (Obviously donated) I need to replace the IDE cables to make it boot though.
9. Commodore Vic-20
No games :(
10. Commodore 64
No games :(
11. Macintosh SE (desktop) made in 1986 20 MB internal Hard drive
Interesting notes: This was my dad's old computer when he ran an old travel agency at our house when I was little.
12. Macintosh SE Superdrive made in 1990
Interesting notes: This computer is very rare. It come's from the time when mac's floppy drives were transitioning from variable speed floppy drives to fixed speed (like "todays" pc floppy's but still incompatible without software) this one happens to have the capability to read both kinds of floppy disks, the newer fixed speed disks and the older variable speed like my other Mac uses.
My hentai rant
I probably read H-mangas and doujins (notice the keyword READ, though I will admit that I did do the other thing quite a few times, too ^.^) about 4 to 5 times more than I watch anime, so my manga list is quite understated. (Though this trend has been reversing lately) If you noticed that I am watching more anime than hentai you are probably right the new stuff SUCKS!
<RANT> OMG! All the new hentai sucks, and not in the good way, but the full blown OMG this anime sucks. I saw In`youchuu Shoku a while ago and it almost made me sick. It looked as if they went over their budget so they settled for animated clip art and MS Paint drawings to make their tentacle rape scenes. LOL, I just thought of the perfect demotivational poster (OMG, is that clip art?). Why don't they go back to the golden age and learn how to draw, *grrr*

That's the first 100 Images
and that's the end.
I still have some more pictures but I don't want to slow down the page.
BTW, you can pick up that boxset whenever. The one we purchased fifty fifty on V-Day. It was okay but pretty overrated. I'm finally working on Brotherhood and it kicks ass.
HAHAH~ I haven't checked down here in a while. Happy belated Thanksgiving and Christmas! Thanks for the encouragement. Right now we are wrapping up our club "meeting" and working on fixing the constitution. Sorry, I had to leave a bit early the other day. I was in quite a rush to get things done. I can't believe in just 3 days it will be 2010 O.O.
Just chiming in to wish you and your family a belated Happy Thanksgiving and I'm wishing you the best of luck with everything. Hope the club goes underway and I hope I can join if it does.
Thanks for bringing the DVD. Sadly my laptop's disc drive is failing on me so I have to wait until Christmas or my b-day to get a new laptop.
I have a free ticket for the Tampa Bay symphony for tomorrow night at Mahaffey at 8. If you want it you can have it. I'll call you in case you don't get to read this but I imagine you're busy atm.
Don't worry, I never forget something that I read. I even found it this morning before I left for class and Anime club. I'll try to drop it off when I find time. (not today though, most likely Wednesday)
BTW, I really would like to have that Session music software which cost about $100.00. I'm not trying to be a prick, but I figured you might read this comment enough. I don't even know if it will work, but hopefully once I get a new and better laptop, the disc drive won't be such a pain in the ass and will let me read the damn disc. I'm so pissed that my only music equipment is jack shit and the idiots at SPC are of no help at all when I use their labs. Anyways I'm just ranting for no reason. But I merely thought about it a moment ago.
