^^ I don't really think I'm belligerent enough to declare war on the supposed elitists and connoisseurs. Just like active debates and discussions I guess. Phantom was good, although the ending was very open-ended and spurned a ton of discussions.

Princess Tutu, I know I definitely liked Ahiru as a main character, but the series is just a tad bit slow. The fairy tale atmosphere was perfect though, and I thought the story was well presented; but I can't really decide what I think about the series as a whole. I was never one for the magical girl genre I guess, as much as I respect them. There goes your theory about feminine preferences.

Free time, don't we all just have that problem? Just make a daily schedule, stick with it and that's that. I post on the forums a lot less these days because I most of the topics posted are not very interesting to me. The way the forums run these days is 1) OP inserts random question topic and 2) People just mundanely post their response in bulk, which nobody really bothers to read. Pages and pages of personal statements that don't really contribute much to a discussion really; so no, the forums really aren't useful nor entertaining these days. I could make start my own threads, but it seems not many people are on the same wavelength as I am, so it's pretty pointless anyway.

So which 2009 anime did you like best? Still Skip Beat and Phantom? We are excluding Clannad AS of course.

Glad you liked it. Yeah, Skip Beat was hilarious and Phantom was full of suspense and that feeling of dread.

You might find Tutu a little girly if you aren't that much into the mahou shoujo genre. But if you perservere and enjoy a well written and impactful story, you would be so loving the second half of Tutu.

Yeah, Clannad's always been one of the worst tear jerker series I've seen. Worse as in getting you everytime.

As fo Seirei, well, you are right about 1 thing. Balsa is a superb character and Chagum is a surprisingly tragic character who I felt for, unlike clingy little Raki.
